Versatile warmth for the mountain.

Keeping you dry out of bounds, the Gore-Tex membrane inside the Outdoor Research Men's Centurion Gore-Tex Glove gives you the waterproof protection you need while piling snow onto that big backcountry booter. Slick undercuff style means at least your jacket sleeves won't be all bunchy on film even while you're buddies replay your botched front flip over and over in slow motion. Lightweight EnduraLoft insulation keeps your digits toasty while maintaining breathability, and polyester fleece lining feels nice and soft. An AlpenGrip LT palm provides plenty of durability and clenching power on ski poles or a shovel handle.

  • Waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex design ensures dry mitts
  • Synthetic insulation throughout prevents frozen digits

Quick on/off glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The OR Centurion glove is super easy to get on and off with the large pull loop on them. They are pretty warm for a glove with no removable liner and reasonably priced for having a gore tex insert. I"ve used them for both skiing and snowmobiling so far. My only complaint is that the thumb is a bit oversized so the dexterity is not all that great when using the throttle on my sled.

Great design, average fit

9" circumference, 8" length, bought a large

I bought these for shoveling snow, walking the dog, running errands, or biking a few miles to work; a true winter work-horse. I thought the gore-tex membrane, moderate insulation (OR site says 266g/m2 back of hand plus fleece palm), short cuffs, and lower-profile design would be great. Unfortunately, they screwed up the most important aspect: fit. When I tried them on inside, they were fine, so I cut the tags and went on my way. However, after using them for a couple days, I realized the fingers were too short when gripping something; especially the thumb/pointer. It's most noticeable riding a bike because the bar pushes the fabric between the thumb and pointer back into the palm, but I get a similar feeling holding a ski pole or shovel.

I will say the pull-on loop is awesome and wish other companies had it. I'm keeping these only because I can't return them.

Jon. Sorry that fit is not ideal for ya! But i am here to take care of you with our 30 in house warranty. I can take return those for a full refund to store credit that you can put towards a new size, or a new pair of gloves. Just call me direct at 801-619-7499 or Free return shipping included.
