I LOVE THIS PACK
I bought for a weekend camping/kayaking the Colorado River, have used it for beach days (brought on jet skis) and just recently took it hunting in the mountains. It's been through a handful of water elements and has kept everything dry.

Had to go with Black, these were out of stock.
These were out of stock after I ordered them. Bummer, I wanted this color but had to go with the black instead. I'll love it either way.

Love it. Confused by the clasps for a bit
I like the metal material of the clasps but couldn't figure it out at first. Great purchase though. Using it on the bike and paddling trips. Light and compacy

Transports kit via water craft or commercial air.
Used to carry gear and accessories while fly fishing after work on business trips. Have to travel fast and light while keeping wallet, phone and rental car keys protected from inevitable dunkings while wading. Closure system relies on hook type buckles in webbing loops. Very rugged and versatile but prone to un-hooking it seems. I'm sure I'm doing something the designers didn't intend with the way I'm rolling it but it shouldn't be that complex. Use another carry out drybag inside for critical items. The laptop sleeve is a great thought.

Great day hiking pack!
This pack has handled a few day hikes in BCs lower mainland like a champ. In an all day deluge, it kept my kit dry as promised. It has nice foam padding to cushion against any hard objects you might be carrying. The outside quick stow pocket isn't water proof but is a great spot to keep flat packed items ( TP, snacks). The only issue I have is that there isn't a place to hold a water bottle. A quick fix is making a shoulder pouch to attach to the daisy chain. Great bag overall.

Great little bag
I recently did a hike in BC's lower mainland and this bag held up great. It was a down pour for 3 hours and my kit stayed dry. The bag needs something to hold a water bottle at the very least. It's very light and packs away flat when not in use. The seams are taped very well but be forewarned, the outside pocket is not water proof. Overall great piece of kit for a day hike.
