Field Survival Kit for BC Touring

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bought this after listening to Steven Rinella rave about it on a podcast. I'd been meaning to create a survival / tool kit for backcountry skiing, and the medium size works perfectly. It's got tons of pockets, both zippered and open, to stash whatever gear you may need. In mine, I've got basic medical supplies, a leatherman, duct tape, utility cord, extra Voile straps, screws, a survival tarp, a headlamp, fire starting kit, and compass. My only complaint is that I bought the last one in stock and I wish I had purchased another one for myself for a summer gear kit, as well as a couple extra for gifts for friends! If you frequently travel in the backcountry, whether it's for skiing, hiking, climbing, hunting, boating, etc, this is a great way to efficiently organize the essentials that you should always have with you!
