The lighter you are, the faster you can be.
Fast-and-light alpine climbs and backcountry ski tours call for the Outdoor Research Men's Axiom Jacket. Its three-layer Gore-Tex Active shell guarantees waterproof protection in a more breathable package for truly active endeavors, and fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing snowflakes and raindrops from seeping through. A trim fit gives less bulk and less weight, and a mechanical stretch ensures full mobility.

Does this have pitzips?
If so are they the OR torso flow style?
If it doesn't have pitzips, what might you reccomend? I'm looking for a very light minimalist hardshell with pitzips and preferably Gore Active shell.
Hi Jonathon, This jacket does not have pit zips. I've sent you an email with links to three jackets that we have in stock right now that are Gore Active Shell and all have pit zips. Take a look at them and let me know what you think. - Matthew Pizza - Expert Gearhead
Thanks for the answer, Matthew. We wanted a seriously minimalist piece, so no pit zips here. Gore Active does a great job by itself!
Hope that helps,
