My fingers were nice and warm in banff in 20 deg weather with these guys . The filing inside is nice and soft. Loved the colors. Love how the wrists to protect me from the powder. Only wished that the gloves came with wrist bracelets so I can take my gloves of without worrying about losing them.

My wife loves these gloves because they keep her hands dry and warm. The extended wrist is amazing because you can stay protected no matter what types of layers you're wearing. Fun colors too.

I used these mittens on my first wintry hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They kept my fingers toasty. I did use small knit gloves as liners, which is one of the two downsides, I do wish these came with their own as it isn't practical to try and eat and drink water on the go wearing mittens. The other downside is I wish the clips to keep them together were larger and able to clasp to my pack. They seem durable as I was wearing them while I scrambled up some rock slabs. Overall, not bad for the price.

    warm hands!

Hi Kim, Thanks for writing! These mittens are warm, but we are not able to include a liner at the price of $49, and make these as warm and waterproof as they are. Tradeoffs, you know! If you are interested in a system mitt from OR, look at the Highcamp Three Fingered Mitt or the Highcamp Mitt. You will love it!

    Thanks for writing,

Hi, are these suitable for skiing down to minus 20 deg Celsius? Are the seams taped? Are they waterproof from melting snow when building snowman and other snow play? Thank you,

    Hey there!

We don't typically list a temperature rating for gloves, since that can vary greatly based on a number of factors such as how active you are while wearing them.

The waterproof ventia insert should be plenty to keep your hands dry when building a snow man or launching snowballs around! And since the insert is the waterproof layer, there's no need for external taped seams. They should keep you plenty dry.

Hi there - for the activity you are planning, I would actually recommend GoreTex Mittens here, like the SouthBack Mitt from OR. Gore is more durable over time for snow play. These are our entry level mittens, they are a great price, but over time, in the snow, Gore Tex will keep out wetness longer. Hope that helps.
