Oury grips have had exactly the same design for years. That’s because the big, meaty grips with large, cushioned blocks provide a perfect balance of comfort and control. The lock-on design means the grips won’t slide around on the handlebar like traditional grips.

Gotta love 'em

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using these grips for almost ten years now. Every time I purchase a new bike I give the stock grips or the upgraded grips from a previous owner a try but they never compare to Oury grips.

Simple, durable, affordable. Gotta love 'em.

Dare to compare

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've run plenty of other grips on everything from cross country rigs to park bikes. Nothing matches the tack and comfort of these grips. Only one gripe...the lock rings, which are made of aluminum, can dig into carbon bars a bit. Need to file down the sharp edges a bit, use carbon grip compound and torque to specs. Then you're fine.

Shred it and forget it!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been running these grips for years, so it seemed like a natural fit to slap on my new Yeti. Originally I was finding that my hands were going numb due to stock grips being entirely too skinny. When it was recommended to switch to the Oury's I was a little hesitant just due to how meaty they had looked. Once I slapped them on, my hands was allowed to open up a bit and keep the blood flow moving preventing my hands from going numb. The grip is SUPER tacky too. Great for hot days!

I love these grips!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these to replace the stock grips on my Santa Cruz. These are great. They are much thicker to comfortably accommodate my larger than average hands. The stickiness of the grip is great too.

Comfort & Grip!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Replaced the grips that came on my MTB with these super comfy and grabby Oury grips. They provide enough grip without bulk and were super easy to install.

Heck Yes

I love Oury grips. Easy to install and wear long. I immediately replaced my Santa Cruz grips with these meatier grips on my new bike. I find that with a medium to large hand other grips have too small diameter and my hands tire more quickly. Wearing a thin palm glove (POC ) with a beefier grip works great for me.

    Great Grips

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I installed these Oury lock on grips with a recent handlebar upgrade. They are soft, secure and subtle. In terms of function, these grips are great and soft enough that I could choose to ride without gloves on the warmer days. I'll likely go with these on all of my bikes.

    Simply the best

Over the past 12 years I've had these on so many bikes. They are so comfy, grippy, long lasting, and just all around the way to go. I just ordered a new Bronson and these will be going on it the day it arrives

      Hold On Tight!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have ridden with these Oury Lock-On Grips for years and have a tough time switching to anything else. I have mid/large hands and prefer the meaty, cushioned blocks to some thinner options out there. These grips are sticky and durable and help prevent 'hand pump' during long, technical descents. I cannot recommend these enough, they are simply the best for those who love to ride mountain bicycles. Below is a picture of my Pivot Mach 6 with these grips in action.

      Good grips

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Solid grips that went on easy and are very secure. They are slightly tacky which makes for a good connection point regardless of weather or sweatiness. Only down side is that they could be a bit larger for my tastes, but I have large hands. The size is probably perfectly fine for most.

Certainly a cheap, convenient, and what appears to be durable grip solution.

      Oury lock ons

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These grips ROCK! Installation is a breeze. The locking mechanisms function as you would hope, no slipping, ever. The grips are "tacky", even when wet, sweat or rain. Rode Tsali all day in the rain to prove it. After that had to buy a set for my wife's bike. Have used lots of grips over the years. Will be hard to get me to ever try another grip again.

      Cush

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

      Great on rough, rocky trails.

Lots of cushion but you can still get after it. Great for aggressive riders. The blocks are big, so, I wouldn't recommend them to riders who don't wear gloves.

These are going on all my mtbikes from here on out.

      Totally Tacky

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Loving these grips after a couple months of use. They've only gotten significantly tackier the more I have used them. The compound is pretty soft which is helps cut down on chop and vibrations being transferred to your body through the grips. While the compound is fairly soft they don't seem to be breaking down at a faster rate then expected. Would definitely buy these again!
