Great, Versatile, & Carry On Friendly

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Really cool bag. The lightning grey color is cool - the photo here on Backcountry represents it well. On other sites, it looks traditional grey, but it's definitely more blue like shown here. Bought it for my daughter & she loves the colors, I like that it's versatile as both backpack & duffle. Plus, it doesn't look blocky like cheaper bags that you'd never use for anything besides skiing. This is a great all-around bag that has really nice ski-specific features (goggle pocket, boot compartment, helmet attachment, etc).

    Do yourself a favor

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I grew up skiing, and I live near my local resort, so I had always assumed that ski bags were just for tourists. Not true. This bag has saved me trips to and from the car while getting loaded up and keeps me from forgetting anything at home or leaving my goggles in a friends' trunk.

    Osprey Packs SnowKit 45L Duffel

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pack is amazing. It literally has a pocket for everything - water bottle, boots, googles, misc. gear. This pack makes it easy to keep all my ski gear in one singular location. It's also durable and versatile. It can act as a backpack or a duffel bag, which is pretty neat. One downside is that the pocket for misc. gear could be a bit bigger. If my skis boots are in the pack, it's hard to fit my snow pants and jacket in along with all my other gear. Other than that, I am so happy with this pack.

I dig it, but needs to be bigger

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bag works great dont get me wrong, but being a ski instructor im carrying alot of gear. I can fit my boots in here along with my uniform, goggles, helmet buff and a few other small things, this is where i run into trouble. I cant fit any other clothing in there. If youre just trying to carry the essentials this is a great bag. I still love it.

    Very Awesome, But Very Specific

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This pack is great, but it really is made for a very specific use: resort skiing. Now, that is definitely not a bad thing! What is does, it does incredibly well. It can fit my ski boots (29.5's btw, not exactly small) jacket, mid layer, bibs, gloves, and goggles inside the compartment pretty well, which a tiny bit extra room for little things (like a buff, or a granola bar). Also, you can carry your helmet on the outside, which is nice. However, anything more than that, and you are going to run into trouble. There if definitely no room for a beacon probe and shovel, or really anything extra! However, if you are going to be using this just to get to and from the resort and keep your gear in one compact place, it definitely is pretty amazing. Its pretty comfortable to wear as well. Overall, i think it has a more niche use, but it does it so well I can't not recommend it!

Compact Design with Plenty of Space

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My husband (28.5 size boot) and I (22.5) each bought one of these for our out of state ski trips. The bag looks small, but there is plenty of space to store our boots, gloves, helmets, and googles (and even small pieces of clothing in between the nooks and crannies). What we like most about this bag is it is VERY compact. It is not bulky and a pain to carry around an airport. The dual straps provide great support. If you are looking for a solid boot travel bag, look no further than this back!
