Comfy
I love this lumbar pack. Streamlined, perfect size, and looks great. I use it for day hiking and mountain biking. The side pocket luckily fits my iphone x in it – barely. Would be nice if they make those pockets a tad bigger, but it works!

Too wide for a woman's frame
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
(I used this for hiking) This probably works awesome for a man, but on me, it stuck out too far on both sides with the water bottles. I found the cargo area very long and narrow, and it didn't seem to hold much. People couldn't walk too close to me, as these "guns" would knock people off with my every step. Backcountry graciously allowed me to exchange it for a similar pack specifically designed for a woman's frame. (For reference, I am 5'8" and 125 pounds, size 2)

Hi Kris, for Hiking, may I suggest the Osprey Tempest 6? That is a specific women's lumbar hiking pack. The construction is different, and it is the right tool for you. This was designed to be worn when biking, so you don't have the issue of people walking too close to you. Thank you. Leta Osprey Rep

Comfortable and everything stays put
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This little pack kicks butt! I purchased this so I could carry extra water and supplies for going on rides with my dog, but it has now replaced my frame bag and is my daily bike pack. The zipper pulls are very glove friendly and it has enough space for anything I could need on a daily ride. As stated in other reviews, the water bottles are a little tricky to get out when riding, but once I got used to it I have had no problems. You just have to dial the fit of the straps with the water bottles in the holsters before you go riding. The only negative thing I really have to say about this pack is it isnât very waterproof. I got caught in a HEAVY rainstorm and it leaked thru the zippers. Luckily I prepared for rain and had my electronics in a baggie. My favorite part of this bag is how well it stays put and how reasonably unnoticeable it is. I ride a fully rigid bike so I get hammered around a lot on the trails here in Colorado, but never have I once lost my water bottles or felt like the contents of my pack are rattling apart. There is a reason my whole quiver of packs is Osprey.

Difficult to insert water bottles
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This pack is the perfect size for my intentions and well-built. However, my purpose is to use it while mountain biking, meaning removing and inserting water bottles while riding. Unfortunately, the bottle holders collapse when not in use too easily, meaning I cannot insert the bottle again without moving the pack from my backside to frontside and then using two hands to hold the carrier open while inserting the bottle. So, just doesn't serve my purpose at all. The more "stuff" you have in the baggage compartments the harder it is to insert a bottle in its carrier.
