Useful Messenger Bag
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought this for my GF, and she really likes it. Lots of storage inside, and I think she'll get a lot of use from it. can hold her laptop, some files, phone, and her lunch... even could fit a water bottle in the side pocket.
Great Work Bag
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
My old messenger bag was getting pretty beat up, so I decided to get a new one when I switched jobs. I wanted to keep it as small as possible since I really just need to carry a laptop, notebook, snack, water bottle, and a few extras (pens, wallet, chapstick, etc). This bag is great for that. It has a padded pocket for my computer, 1 external water bottle pocket, and a good-sized pocket area for all the extras. My only compliant is that I wish it had a pocket on the flap for quick access to my wallet/phone. They can obviously go in the pocket area, but it's under the flap so you have to unbuckle and hold the flap open while you unzip the pocket. The other option is the small pocket under the top handle. It's on top of the flap but it's a pain to put things in/take things out of it with the handle in the way. HOWEVER, I still like this bag enough to keep using it. The desert tan has a really cute teal liner fabric on the inside. And the bag itself is really light so your shoulder doesn't get tired just because of the bag. And the paddle shoulder strap is very comfortable.
AWESOME, I LOVE MY BAG.

This bag is for life if you want it to be. I got the desert tan color to match most everything. The insides are turquoise, so pretty! Very durable and lives up to its name. Super comfortable to wear even while carrying a laptop and 2 textbooks inside. Ive had it for about two months now.
Wouldn't change a thing!
So much room! 2 water bottle holders on either side, several pockets, lots of features. Well made.
What I need in a bag
Full disclaimer: I am not intending on using this bag for outdoors-ing, but for office/business etc.
This bag is what it claims. Seems to be built from durable material, love the black color with teal accent (honestly, just girly "enough" for this life-long tom-boy who puts pragmatism above looks) and has great organization, most importantly for me a water bottle sleeve and an ability to get another small bottle of water in the zippered sleeve (yeah, I'm that person. I carry a lot of water.) I love the laptop sleeve but buyer beware: my 15" 2014 MacBook Pro fits like a glove, good luck if you think you're getting the 17" laptop in there as advertised.
I will admit I was a bit concerned with how big this bag would be on me considering it could actually fit my laptop and supposedly one larger, but thankfully it's not overbearing at all. I'm also transitioning from having been a backpack person to a more professional-looking messenger/courier bag so it's a little to get used to for me, but on my 5'6/5'7 frame this feels completely normal. I would think if you're more petite it might feel a bit large, but I would say for the average to tall girl it's going to be fine.
All in all, I think it's better than many competitors out there. I've had Timbuk2's before and never been that impressed for the price (perhaps because I am, as previously mentioned, a backpack person) but especially with this on sale this is a score for me and I imagine it would last for years to come.
