Love Osprey
A good pack for a weekend long trip. The compartment for the sleeping bag is super handy, and it has just enough extra pockets to fit all your odds and ends. The anti-gravity suspension system saves your back pain, and the straps are easy to adjust to your custom fit. The side compression allows you to compress to the point you need to, and the outside pad/tent straps securely fit your tent or pad to the pack as you hike. It's not going to be a super lightweight pack, so if you're looking to thru hike I'd look elsewhere, but it's durable and perfect for 1-3 day trips!

Unparalled suspension
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I definitely overpacked for a one night trip. There was waaaay too much weight, and for 2500ft of vert, it still felt weightless. Lots of adjustability, but definitely more of a 2-3 night pack, especially if packed right. The pack itself is heavier than i expected, however ospreys suspension cannot be beat.

Osprey does it again, in my opinion they make the best packs in the market. The Atmos will blow your mind. The anti-gravity system is amazing. It distributes weight so well. Remember those backpacking trips where your pack was the biggest burden of the trip? That won't be an issue with this pack. The hip belt and back panel are adjustable to get that perfect fit and perfect weight distribution. Organization is easy in this pack with the many well placed pockets. It is a durable pack that will be able to handle everything you need for that next epic camp spot. I use this pack on my shorter backpacking trips. If I am going for an extended period of time, then I go with the Atmos 65L for some extra space. I also use this bag as a climbing pack to haul my 70m rope and all of my climbing gear to the crag. It doesn't come with a rain cover, but the Osprey Ultralight Rain cover in a size large fits and works perfectly for this pack. I am 6'0, 175 and a medium frame fits me well. I would highly recommend this pack.

Good Pack
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I recently used the Atmos AG 50 L on Nepal’s Annapurna Circuit, a multi-week trek in the Himalayas. The backpack was comfortable, durable, spacious, and sturdy. The suspension system was amazing! But, the pack is not especially lightweight. For future high altitude treks, I’ll probably opt for one of Osprey’s lighter packs, like the Exos or Lumina.

Hey John, If you go with the Exos, make sure your weights don't top 35 pounds... not designed for the comfort at higher weights like the Atmos is. And you mean the Levity for the Super Ultra Light series... the men's version, a companion to the women's Lumina. For that pack, you really want to not exceed 25 pounds for best comfort. Glad you liked the Atmos! Leta Osprey Rep

Great pack!
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Got this as a gift and this is what they have to say about it so far: "I love this pack, the fit is really good and comfortable. I have only been using it for training purposes so far on hikes around my area but I am preparing to go to Everest base camp in April and really looking forward to really putting this pack to the test. I have noticed that the suspension system makes it feel like you are not carrying as much as you really are so the support is crazy good! Will do another review update once I use it for my travels!"

Unreal comfort, especially on warm days

The perfect 2 or 3 day pack. The mesh back panel / suspension is the best made. Two top pockets, a stash pocket big enough for camp shoes or a jacket. and two large hip belt pockets offer plenty of on the go access. I do solo backpacking trips of 3 days, 2 nights with this pack regularly, for longer trips I carry the Aether 70. Easily fits a three season bag, one person tent, stove, clothing, food, etc. The two trekking pole loops for transport are great, as are the trekking pole fast stow straps ( for scrambles) on the pack's left side. I was able to get the previous version discounted, the new version has sleeping bag compartment straps (the old version did not) for attaching a sleeping pad. This pack is made for overnights and weekends in comfort while doing big miles.

Comfortable, awesome pack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've used this pack a couple times now, for 2 different multi day backpacking trips. 50L isn't huge, but if you've got small/lightweight gear then it's plenty of room! I was able to fit my sleeping bag, pad, hammock + straps, tent, clothing and food and water for a 3 day backpack no problem. The AG suspension system is amazing, it hardly feels like you're carrying anything! I'd highly recommend this pack to someone who can pack light, and is looking for a good weekend backpacking pack.

Good solid pack
Well, first off this is my first multi day pack. I do pack light. That being said! I love this pack, solid with plenty of space. Super comfy on my hips. Im 5'10 and the M fit perfect! The side pockets are super convenient for water bottles while walking to access them and putting them back in. All around love it. Pretty light as well.
