    Simple and Durable

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought this back last spring for adventuring around the Front Range of Colorado. I was climbing 4-5 days a week outside in Eldo, RMNP, and Vedauwoo and this pack was my go-to grab. The material is durable and the pack itself is a simple large pocket with a small inside pocket for valuables and a brain. The larger compartment has two access point: a top drawstring top and a large side zipper on the side for when your are unloading your rack at the crag. The pack has just the right amount of features: two straps on each side to secure your rope under the brain, a spot for ice axes, and I love the piece of mind the RECCO adds when I am deep in the alpine. This is not my main pack anymore for a few reasons, the biggest being it is just a little too small. 35L is great for a fast and light alpine mission, but way too small for carrying a double rack, rope, and snacks for a day of cragging. If you need a pack for light missions or like having a bag on longer multi-pitches this is a great option (especially with the RECCO reflector). I also don't love how the pack's brain is connected to the draw string which means access the top is a challenge if the brain is full of things. Overall, it is a great pack and super durable, if just a bit small.
