Whether at the very beginning, with the first avalanche transceiver that transmitted on two frequencies, or with our continual passion for wool as a first choice in mountain clothing since 1988, or in recent years with the extraordinary ways that we have found success when it comes to material combinations, function, and design.  Looking back to the beginnings, a great deal has happened at ORTOVOX. And yet we have never lost sight of our Alpine roots. There is one thing in particular that we have never forgotten: Friendship and mountains are what matter to us. As safety pioneers and wool experts, we offer high-quality, functional equipment for mountaineers, both in the sectors of hard goods and clothing. Both our emergency equipment and our mountainwear are characterized by their systemic nature and their high functionality. All elements can be combined with each other and provide the necessary protection and the desired comfort, either on their own or in combination. In winter 2014/15, our emphasis is on equipment for traditional backcountry tourers, but, just like in recent years, we’ve also got the ideal clothing and equipment for freeriders.
