Why We Like The Optimus Crux Weekend Cook System + Black Canister Stand
The Optimus Crux Weekend Cook System + Black Canister Stand helps us fill our belly with a warm, nutritious meal after a 20-mile day on the trail. We pull the system from its mesh bag and open the lid to take out everything we need—fuel canister (sold separately), stand, and stove. Once it's all set up, we fill the pot, light the stove, and within 3 minutes we have boiling water to pour into our dehydrated meal.

Good all in one package. Definitely not the top performer in the wind, but does a good job on a budget.

Teflon coating is very fragile
Teflon coating is fragile and comes off when you're brewing coffee. Would have rather had an uncoated product. I do like how fast it boils water and how compact it is though. Everything does inside itself. Probably wouldn't buy again though unless an uncoated version was available. Not for everyone. Don't use metal utensils on this thing. No more advice. Website making me type more words....

Great Stove
Very compact and packable stove. Boils water extremely quick. Does what it’s designed for. No igniter, NEEDS a lighter or a sparker to light it. MUST get a windscreen for windy conditions! Great for indoor use as well (like a hotel).
