    EDC Tool System

Forget wearing a pack on multi-hour weekend rides and hot laps around local trails when your bike's equipped with the ingenious EDC Tool System by OneUp Components. This innovative multi-tool nests inside your fork's steer tube, allowing you to bring everything required for trailside repairs without lugging around a bulky pack with multiple tools inside.

The EDC Tool System is comprised of three separate parts. You'll find a compact multi-tool, chain breaker that doubles as a tire lever, and a bottom storage container that threads onto the bottom of the entire unit. The bottom storage container can be swapped out for a 12, 16, or 20-ounce canister of CO2 for inflating tires. Moreover, you'll find the EDC Tool System is compatible with OneUp Component's EDC Pump with bottle cage mount (sold separately), in case you'd like the entire system to fit in your water bottle cage, instead of inside your fork's steer tube.

To ensure fork compatibility, check OneUp Component's website if you plan on fitting the EDC Tool System inside your steer tube. For preparation, you'll need to separately purchase the EDC Tap Kit and EDC Top Cap Kit by OneUp Components, so you can thread the inside of your fork's steer tube and maintain a secure interface for the EDC Tool System to safely nest inside. Please check the specs for an exhaustive list of all the included tools in this system.

    Elite piece of gear

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Using in conjunction with the 100cc pump. Mounted to the bottle cage on my Chameleon. Incredible attention to detail. The multi tool is well thought out, and so compact. Hiding the extra quick link is next level! Couldn’t be more stoked, and have been impressed with the tools when forced to perform trail side work. I’ll add in- the pump is stellar also- and you shouldn’t think twice about investing in the EDC line of products. Ditch the pack! I don’t need a bladder/pack of water for majority of my rides, and having this system lets me carry what I need and NOT on my back!

    Game Changer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Amazing little system that allows me to ride without a pack on short and medium rides. Tools seem high quality and have stood up to use and abuse well so far. The only downside to this setup is that many bike shops dont seem to have a ton of 20g CO2 cartridges in stock (compared to 25g), which is the size needed to fit inside the stock EDC housing. Awesome multi tool that gives you some extra piece of mind when riding hard.

    Omelet Du Fromage

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The first time I pulled this sweet honey out on a ride, I received no fewer than 7 or 8 accusations of being a nerd. Unbeknownst to my accusers was the sheer beauty of such a fine specimen of engineering and practicality.

Much like the popular episode of the popular children's cartoon, Dexter's Laboratory, where our protagonist, Dexter is accused of being a loser for only being to repeat one phrase, "Omelet Du Fromage", the plot further develops to the point where this leads to his strengths and the trait which once betrayed him as the loser, quickly allows him to rise and become the hero of our tale; remarkably similar to how the OneUp EDC allows us to rise up to be the hero of our lives.

    Everyone needs this!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've added this to both of my mountain bikes. It's truly a game changer, and its probably the most ingenious product to hit the market in a long time. The install is actually super easy. Now my friends bug me all the time to borrow my tool mid-ride, but they are all getting the same setup now after using mine.

    EDC TOOL.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This tool is one of the most valuable things I have on my bike, it has saved my ass countless times since I bought it. This tool is also cool because you can store it in your steer tube, or you can buy the ad on pump system that it slides into. Either way you put it on bike it works great and has all the tools you will ever need, plus it includes a place for a CO2 canister to screw in. Overall this is one of my favorite products from one up, it will make a great addition to any bike.

    Works great, one caveat

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I installed this thing a couple weeks ago, and it has already saved my butt a couple times. The tool is small and light, but bits are nice and precise and seems like they will last a while. It has a thread to hold a Co2 cartridge up to a 20 gram, but I found not all 20 gram cartridges fit, some are too large to fit in the steer tube. Genuine innovations standard 20 gram cartridge does, and is the one I use. Once installed, I did not notice any rattling or looseness while riding, and it didn't pop out or move at all.

If you are putting this in the steer tube of your bike, you do need two additional pieces, the EDC Top Cap Kit, and the EDC Tap Kit, both of which we sell here. Overall I love having tools and a CO2 in my bike, which makes my pre-ride checklist even smaller and lets me ride without a pack.
