Sharpens edges so you can slash across icy slopes without sliding like a noob.

All shred and no tune makes Jack's edges dull. Good thing OneBallJay created these Steel Files for sharpening those bad-boys to a fine finish. Two lengths of files gives you the option to choose your poison to match your tuning preferences. Just grab an edge guide and a little duct tape, and use these steel tools to bring your snowboard edges back to life.

Does just the job its meant for

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got this bad boy for detuning my edges, and let me tell you, it does just that. Super cheap and gets the job done! Longer so your able to get a good grip while detuning or tuning your edges. Would recommend!

    Who likes edges, anyway?

Quality file at a steal of a price. I have not personally used it to tune or sharpen my edges, but it certainly works to take the edge off. Not as harsh as many coarse files but you still may want to run a gummy stone over your edges after filing.

Pretty basic file here - similar to what you might find at a hardware store - but it's always nice to support a company you've had good experiences with. Besides, its only $10.

I love OneBallJay waxes, so I figured I'd buy their file as well.

This file works great for sharpening or de-turning your snowboard/ski edges.

I bought it in the 10 inch variety for some added control.

Mainly use this guy for sharpening my ice tools, but will probably use it on my skis as well. To be completely honest, it's no different than any other single-cut bastard file, but the price is pretty reasonable.

Just remember; files cut on the *push* stroke, not the pull stroke!
