These are my first ON shoes after reading and hearing such amazing reviews, the Cloudventure Waterproof definitely falls flat. First off, you'll have to size up. I tried these in store with a full size up and surprisingly fit my wider feet. Decided to do a 0.5 size down as the 1.0 size up was just too long. The laces are a bit comical. If using the entire set of holes, there's just enough lace to tie a small knot. And definitely not enough to double knot. Then the pain started on the top between the tongue and upper. As waterproof shoes should, there's stitched material to ensure water doesn't come through the tongue. However, that gets bunched up and produces a pain point. I walked down hill on the first day and felt like a needle was jabbing the top of my feet. Lastly, they are "waterproof"...yes, however no where does it say breathable. It's been cold and my feet get REALLY hot. Need to go back to gore-tex shoes.

My husband and I both have a pair. We traveled to Disney World and wanted a waterproof shoe just in case for rainy days during our stay. This shoe was great for theme park walking/running to keep up with our young people. The fit is good and the style is simply classic.

Too Narrow

These Cloudventure Waterproof Trail shoes are much narrower than other ON shoes I have. Returned for refund and hope they will offer wide sizes or redesign in future versions.

2 weeks ago I bought a pair in my normal size. I had to return them which has taken another week to get back to Back country. I though it would take time so I ordered a second pair size 12 thinking it would solve the problem. Not close. It is like putting your foot in a pressure chamber. So now I?m out of pocket 2 pairs of shoes with a refund sometime after new year. Thanks Back Country.
