    Gets the job done

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Easy to use, feels very strong and durable. Mostly use it to clip my water bottle to my backpack while traveling to save some space inside the pack. Easy to clip and unclip. What more can you ask for?

    very easy use, strong

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I keep a few of these with me at all times. I use them on my ENO hammock to strap to trees. I use them on my rig at work. I use them for just about anything that I need a snaplink for. Can lock or unlock them one handed and theyre knurled enough to use with heavy gloves.

Mine are the OD green ones that OP sells to LE/MIL. Otherwise, no difference from these that BC is selling.

    Super Strong

Looks great. Clasp is fast and strong and I hope it works well for years to come. I use it as a key ring, and grocery bag handle. Super versatile for everyday use

    Super Strong

I purchased 3 of these in the 'Bright' finish about 5 months ago and I always make sure one rides around on my GoRuck GR1 so I can easily clip keys, gloves, rock climbing shoes, Nalgene, whatever to my bag. Basically, you're only limited by your imagination in that regard. I've used the other ones climbing and they are both durable and easy to manipulate one-handed. An additional plus is that they are Made in the USA.

Basically, I won't buy any carabiner but an Omega Pacific carabiner.

Used these to hang in my hammock. Worked great! I've owned some cheaper carabiners in the past, this feels nothing like them.

Price wise on Backcountry, yes. Quality wise, definitely not, these are pretty unbreakable (granted, I only weight about 150lbs).

You probably won't find cheaper carabiners on BC, but you can definitely find cheaper 'biners at outdoor retailers.

I bought this to easily strap on weight to my photography light stands. This is the least expensive clip I could find so it works great for that purpose. I'd probably buy something more expensive if I was climbing with it.

          Bear hangs?

I bought this for my bear hang setup and just like Brad, I didn't even notice that it was rated for climbing. While it's pretty overkill for my bear hang, I'm happy that such a cheap little accessory now has so many uses.

            Great for the hammock

Realizing this is rated for climbing, with a major axis strength of (5395lbf) - i went ahead and snagged it to use with the slap straps on my ENO hammock. Works great, love them, easy to use. Plan on using the 'biners for climbing as well, but have not as of yet. More of a BD guy for climbing.
