    Simple, clean, and comfortable.

Clean, classic lines are the hallmark of the Men's Maka Flip Flops from Olukai. These flops feature full-grain leather straps with a canvas lining above a full-grain leather footbed. A compression-molded EVA midsole helps support your tender dogs as you make your way through your day. To keep you from slipping around unnecessarily, Olukai used non-marking rubber and gum soles for traction and durability.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these after a summer and a half in my second pair of Mea Ola sandals that met their demise after I accidentally kicked a bike rack and blew out the toe post. I decided to try out the less-expensive Maka and am wishing I sprung for the Mea Ola again. The toe post in this is nylon as opposed to wrapped leather of the Mea Ola. There also seems to be a difference in sole of the sandal but it may be from differences in wear. Overall, if you are going to spend this kind of money on a flip flop, you might as well spring the extra 10 or 20 dollars and do it right.
