Great baselayer pants!

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. This was my first time trying this brand and it was better than expected! I didn't feel too hot when wearing the "ODLO Performance Blackcomb Baselayer Pant - Women's" and on cooler days, the "ODLO Performance Blackcomb Baselayer Pant - Women's" was perfect. I tested them out in a variety of conditions, both on warmer days and cooler days in the mountains. When they first arrived, they looked really small. But they're pretty stretchy so I didn't have an issue fitting into them (but I do wish they were even stretchier). The fabric is fairly soft and not itchy. The "ODLO Performance Blackcomb Baselayer Pant -Women's" is thin which allows you to easily layer on top, but not thin enough to be see through, and the thinness doesn't compromise warmth. They aren't merino wool which may be a deal breaker for some, but they still regulate body temperature well in cold and warm climates and have moisture wicking abilities. The only thing I don't really like is the color and pattern because it feels very flashy and I tend to prefer more neutral tones. But if you love patterns, then this is a great budget friendly base layer! For reference, I ordered a size Small, I'm 5'3" and my waist is 26-27 inches, hips are 36 inches. The size Small fit but I'd probably try sizing up to see what that's like as well, just to be sure.

Stretchy!

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. My initial thought was that there is no way these are going to fit let alone keep me warm, but they are super stretchy and true to size - no issues with my muscular thighs. While I haven't had a chance to test their true ability in the winter, I suspect that they will most certainly do the job! Pictures are 100% accurate with respect to color and pattern, which is fun if you love animal print! Quality feels on point with the price point. Looking forward to giving these a go when the snow flies!

Great look and feel

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. My first impression when opening the packages of ODLO gear was these are really fun! The colors are great and the print adds to the look. I am 5?8?weight ~135 and wear a medium in the top and small in the bottoms. They are very form fitting so I chose a medium top as I don't always like a snug fit. The pants stretch in length a lot so easily cover my ankles for great winter coverage. The pants can be pulled up above my waist. The ODLO pants and top are true to size, I also wear small pants at Athleta and a small or medium top depending on how slim the fit. Because I received these in the summer I cannot wear them just yet but do plan to wear the top and pants running and winter outdoor activities as a base layer. I do run hot so it will have to be a cold Michigan day to try them out. I can actually see me wearing this top a lot in the colder months as it is very comfortable and so cute even just to lounge around in. I showed one of my running friends this top and bottom and she is now ordering them both! She is very fashionable so I took this as high praise! So excited to wear my new ODLO gear this winter.
