Saddle up, paddle down, and reel 'em in.
Fishing is supposed to be simple, but still it's nice to have a little extra room for all the gear you've acquired over the years; after all, you never know what you're going to need out there. The Ocean Kayak Tetra 12 Sit-On-Top Angler Kayak has a 12ft length, making it great for the angler that needs a little more room in the cockpit and wants to get up to slicing speed at sea. The Tetra 12 excels on any flat water fishery, but Ocean Kayak designed it with big water in mind. As a result, this boat was built to punch through surf, and glide fast on open water.
The boat is rigged with a grip of angler-friendly features. The Mod Pod II Hatch system allows you to easily access extra rods stored in the front hull while remaining seated. The lid is also fitted with multiple screw mounts, so you can easily install a GPS, fish finder, or water bottle holder. In addition to the two flush mount rod holders located behind the seat, the Mod Pod II hatch is compatible with Scotty, Cannon, and RAM rod holders, so you can customize the rigging of the boat to your preference. The adjustable Comfort Hybrid seat back provides the lumbar support you need for a full day out on the water, and adjustable foot braces keep your legs secure when punching through surf. A paddle keeper secures your paddle when you finally hook into that lunker, and side mounted carrying handles make loading and unloading the kayak as painless as possible.

Great fishing kayak
Never a problem. Maneuvers easily in open water. Punches through surf relatively well. Breaking waves can be a problem, but that is the case with all kayaks. Real stable! Caught multiple 30 lb. fish with this rig in Cape Cod bay.
