As a surveyor, it is extremely important to find hiking shoes/boots that keep your feet both dry and comfortable. These shoes seem to check those boxes and exceed expectations. I hiked 8 miles the same day that I received them. There were no hot spots or any sort of uncomfortable break in period. I have a wide foot (EE in cowboy boots) so I am always worried that standard width shoes will cramp my toes. Luckily this shoe has a wide toe box that keeps just enough distance between my foot and shoe. Somehow the material is both 100% waterproof and breathable, a hard combination to achieve. 5 stars.

Really enjoy wearing these around as a casual and hiking shoe. I like that this shoes doesnt have a waterproof membrane. The Leather is waterproof and I havent had any issues with water getting in although I make sure i dont puposefully jump into puddles on the trail. Seem to breathe much better than the firebrand BDRY. I also like the look of the stone color. Modern take on a classic style.
