Bridger Mid Vent Waterproof Hiking Boot
The perfect boot for hiking in humid and rainy weather, the Oboz Bridger Mid Vent Waterproof Hiking Boot gives you a perfect balance of breathable comfort and waterproof protection. Using the supportive design of the classic Bridger boot, Oboz decided to utilize strategic mesh venting in the upper to enhance airflow and breathability for summer hikes and backpacking excursions. But that didn't stop them from throwing in a B-Dry waterproof membrane, which keeps out rain and puddle water on the trail but still maintains breathability to prevent your feet from overheating. A supportive midsole consists of comfortable EVA cushioning and a stabilizing nylon shank, while a Granite Peak lugged outsole provides traction on varying trail surfaces and a firm protective layer against roots and rocks. You've got all of that, plus a supportive mid-ankle design that'll help you take on higher miles and tougher trails.

Oboz Bridger Mid Vent Hiking Boot - Women's
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
My second pair of Oboz hiking boots. I love these boots!! No break in time needed right out of the box trail ready. They are light, love how my heels fit no slipping, plus the bigger toe cap for plenty of room for my toes. Also the ventilation is key for warmer days. Love they that they are waterproof and breathable. No blisters yet. I’m going to use these for the Camino de Santiago.
Great boot, but too narrow for me
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I love Oboz products, so after returning the Merrill boots I ordered that weren't quite right on the achilles for me, I tried these. Loved them but for the toe-box, which was quite narrow. I don't have wide feet either. everything else about them is great -- footbed is so comfy, and materials are high quality, but I couldn't get past that toe box. My thought is, if you want, consider sizing up to give yourself more room (it's not high-volume either), or consider the Sawtooth, which is what I ended up with. The Sawtooth is roomier, and super comfy! :-)
