Why We Like The Bozeman Low Leather Shoe

There's nothing better than strolling around a mountain town with a few friends at our side. First a walk around the mountains, and then a trip to the brewery. With all that exploration it's best to have a comfortable shoe to offer support through our day. The Bozeman Low Leather Shoe can provide that, and a fair amount of comfort. A supportive midsole, constructed from recycled materials, is built with a PFC-free water-resistant treated split suede upper. Sport this shoe on a walkabout or simply out on the town.

Shoe is a Bust

Familiarity:

Loved the fit/look. felt great and has very good grip. I read previous reviews and saw complaints about the heel getting worn out fast (as in a month) . Well here is a picture after wearing the shoe 3 times! 3!!! now the length I wore then was all about an hour. Just noticed this after an hour at a dog park. Nothing strenuous what so ever. Got these as a B day present 29th of September and it's now Oct 5th. Very disappointed to say the least 😕

Awesome shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These shoes are very comfortable, mostly due to the insole. If they had just a tad more cushioning underneath, they'd be perfect. Fits true to size for me.

Larger than expected and tread is slippy

Familiarity:

Ordered my usual size but it was too large and then got a half size smaller. After wearing them out for the first time, I noticed on some of the smoother rocks traction was lost slightly and the tread just didn't grab like I expected. The overall platform is comfortable but the application for an approach shoe misses the mark and it is more suitable for stairs.

Quality issues

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Nice daily driver but the plastic framing inside the heel cut broke within 6 months, now digs into my ankle. Disappointed.

I have 3 pair of Oboz and these are by far the most comfortable every day shoes. My only issue is the lining in the heel wore out after one year but thankfully, Backcountry exchanged them for a new pair. I'm hoping I don't have the same issue with this pair as I really like the fit and comfort of these shoes - no break-in necessary..... I found these to be true to size despite others saying they run large - I would give them 5 stars but due to my original issue, I'm going with 4.

Most uncomfortable shoe I own

I've had the shoes for three months and every wear my feet and body feel worse. I have high arches, so maybe it's my fault. The laces come across the top of my foot restricting the blood flow to my feet, so my toes tingle. I recently went on a 2.5 mile hike and my shins are sore, which is something I've never felt even when backpacking 10 miles or more in other shoes. My arches in my feet are equally sore which only happens in these shoes. Also, I can see the fabric inside the shoe is already wearing out from my heel. I read a previous review of someone with a similar experience but he was walking 4 or 5 miles a day, which I am not.

These are the most comfortable hybrid hiking everyday shoe going. I?ve had a ton of shoes/sneakers and these are the tops. Also great looking to boot! I normally wear a 12 but due to the bigger toe box I purchased a 11.5. Glad I did!
