Street-inspired style, sport-tuned performance.
The Oakley Valve Sunglasses blend street-savvy looks with performance optics found on sport-specific shades, making them ideal for high-octane activities and casual outings alike. These sunglasses feature a lightweight, durable O Matter frame for hours of comfortable wear. The integrated Unobtanium ear and nose pads cling to your face, even under wet and sweaty conditions.
Filtering out damaging solar radiation, the Plutonium lens blocks 100% of UV rays and high-energy blue light that causes eye strain. In addition, the lens' Iridium coating (all models except black/dark bronze) balances light transmission for crystal-clear vision.

I tried these puppies on for the first time back in Dec and picked them up 8 months later. I'm really disappointed I waited so long. I like them so much, I'm going to get a second pair. I didn't get the polarized lenses because I have options there but I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing polarized.
They fit great if you are looking to chill or be active. The nose and ear pads work fantastic for those wanting to sit on the beach with a margarita AND for those adrenaline goers who want eye protection and no helmet (I don't recommend this). I know Oakley like my backyard. I grew up 9 miles from the HQ so safe to say it was in my backyard.
Some other pairs I would recommend, with similar fits are: Fives Squared Prizms & Half Jackets

The Nose Knows
They are built well. I would say they would fit a person with a wider face and nose. If you have a skinny face and nose, they will not fit well. It would be nice if Oakley made interchangeable nose-pieces to fit a wider range of faces.

These are the sunglasses I had been waiting for. Oakley always makes awesome gear but these are the perfect fusion of two styles I love. I wish they came with an option for the black iridium polarized lenses.
