    Optimized for cyclists.

Oakley's Jawbreaker Sunglasses have a 44% larger field of view than standard cycling-specific sunglasses. The Switchlock lens interchange system lets you switch out lenses quickly and efficiently via the simple switch mechanism. Temple adjustability accommodates your bike helmet. An Iridium coating helps the Jawbreakers' Plutonite lens balance light transmission and reduce glare.

High Definition Optics ensures the lens meets the American National Standards Institute's ratings for optical clarity, visual fidelity, and impact resistance. The Plutonite lens also filters out 100% of UVA, UVB, UVC, and harmful blue light up to 400nm. Like the lens, Oakley's O-Matter frame resists impact and has a comfortably light feel, and Unobtainium pads give the nose and temples slip-resistant convenience.

    Exactly what I wanted

I was looking for a good pair of sunglasses for cycling that would block out wind when hitting high speeds (35+ mph) and these have worked great. My previous glasses were a half jacket and would let the wind come up under the lens, but these are perfect. I wouldn't recommend wearing them anywhere other than cycling though :)

Not what I expected from Oakley.

I bought these to replace a pair of lost Smith Pivlock's that I had been wearing for about a year. I went out today on a 90 mile ride with about 90min of group riding here in the Silicon Valley. In comparison to the Pivlock, the Jawbreaker is heavy, has inferior peripheral vision, poor ventilation, and collects sweat inside the lens. I've owned the Oakley Radar and M-Frame and while those don't offer as much overall protection, they are way better glasses. The Jawbreaker may work for some, but I did not like wearing them at all. Verdict: retuning item.

    Good Clarity, Versatility, and Coverage.

I've had a number of Oakley glasses over the years, and from an all-around standpoint, these are my favorite. A few positives I really enjoy are the lens coverage, ease of use when changing lenses, and the fit.

Simply put, the lenses are massive, and while the glasses look a bit more unique than many others, the full coverage offered is a huge advantage. The lens change system with these is really simple and reliable. Where I've found something like the Radar to be slightly cumbersome when switching lenses, the Jawbreakers aren't. Fit-wise, they work really well, and I don't feel like they will fall off my face. Lens clarity, as ever with Oakley, is solid.

Good clarity, versatility, and coverage, with a unique look. Definitely a winner if you like something a bit more "out there."

    Great Sunglasses!

I love these glasses! I put them on as soon as I got them and they fit like a glove. If you want to look a little bit like robocop then these are the sunglasses for you.

So for the past year i have been riding with a glasses that well.. below average.. After pretty much every ride i would come home with eyes that looked and felt like someone threw dirt in them. I was so sick of it i finally broke down and spent the money to buy so glasses that were big enough to protect my eyes.

These glasses did the job perfectly!! I've ridden with them everyday for the past two weeks and i cannot believe how happy my eyes are!! My eyes always feel so good when i get back! the view is amazing through these bad boys too. Not to mention that they look quite dope. Stop hesitating.. make the investment and buy these today.

Only reason i gave 4 stars is because as the other review said sweat does seem to drop on the lens.. however i don't feel like it was that bad at all. It has only happened a few times and seems to only happen if i am doing a long long climb and sweating more than usual. But like i said, not that big of a deal to me.

    just didn't work for me

I LOVE the fit, feel and finish of these. But I found once I started sweating the sweat from my eyebrows dropped down the inside of the lens. Maybe a little better airflow at the top would prevent this, but I just couldn't enjoy them beyond the first 30 minutes of a ride. Going back to my Jawbones.
