Love them

This would be my 7th pair and love them.. Can’t go wrong:

Scratch extremely easily

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I am very disappointed by the quality of the lens, they get scratched extremely easily and I take good care of my gear. I would not recommend those glasses, even more with the cost of em.

Loving these glasses

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Just picked these up for my trip to Puerto Rico where I'll be doing some fishing. I had a pair of Oakleys back in the day, which I had just bought brand new lenses for and they got stolen from me in Costa Rica. I loved those glasses and I was so bummed. I just picked up these Holbrooks and instantly was satisfied. They're lightweight, really comfortable to wear and the polarized lenses are great and make for nice fishing glasses. Going to keep these under close watch when traveling this time! Highly recommended.

Great frames

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Love how light these feel while wearing and the overall look. They feel well made and durable, so I'm not worried about accidentally snapping off one of the arms when folding/unfolding. I don't think polarized lenses are as needed as some manufacturers say for casual use, but these are very useful for winter driving when the sun is glaring off every surface that has snow on it

Great!

Awesome quality.

Fantastic!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Can't really say anything that hasnt already been said about these but I love these glasses! Very comfortable for all day wear with effortless style. I went with the bronze lens and as others have noted it is see through but that does not bother me. Its a super versatile lens thats great in a wide range of conditions. Great for a day hiking when you will encounter changing light conditions and dont want to be taking your glasses on and off every time you get a little cloud cover. Polarization helps reduce glare and keep your eyes fresh no matter what you are doing. Grab a pair you wont regret it!

Solid sunglasses

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've only used these a few times so far. They fit on my face nicely and don't fall off if I look down. I have a narrower face than most people probably. :D The polarized lens is so nice too!

Always one of the best sunglasses

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I love these sunglasses, which makes me non objective about them. I had the chance to buy them on sale. So it was a huge opportunity. I recommend them for daily use in the city or any place (I also use them in the mountain during winter time). These lenses are bronze polarized to protect your eyes during the shiny days but they are also clear enough to let you wear them arround until late night. Go and get them.

Timeless indeed

Familiarity:

These really are a shade that will probably never go out of style and for good reason, they're just a solid looking pair of shades. Plus they're Oakley so quality is top notch.

Great fit for casual and outdoor activities. Great deal at $70. The only option I had at that price was the matte black frames and brown polarized lenses. I’m happy. Great style.

These glasses are great. Very durable and light. My only problem with them is they are a tad loose on my face.

Classic Oakley

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Oakley is a huge name in optics because their products are top notch. The size of the Holbrook is perfect for my face, and not overly large like many lifestyle shades. The frame plastic is tough, but seems like it will flex a little to take a beating. No screws needed at the arm hinges - they just pop into place, which is nice considering you might take a slam skating and roll over em. I really like the tint of the bronze polarized lens. The polarization cuts bright glare off water or snow, and it performs nicely on overcast days as well. As others have mentioned, the bronze polarized lens is not mirrored, and your eyes are still visible through the lens. Maybe get a darker lens for checking out girls on the beach.. If you want some stylish, practical shades for your other adventures outside, you can't go wrong with these!

I like them, but no my style

I thought the tint will be a little darker, I didn't like that I could see my eyes through the lens.

Bronze lens is see through

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Love these glasses! The fit and lens quality is great, but I do not like that the lens is see through. This should be included in the description or shown in the photo of this particular pair. I will be returning these.

I am an Oakley fan. Bronze Polarized is meant for bright to overcast conditions. An all-around lens and one of the best lenses for Long Haul Driving. Oakley details the specifications and light transmission rates for each and every lens they manufacture in their Lens Guide. Backcountry has nothing to do with the lens specifications. One quick reference to the lens guide would have given you a clear idea prior to your purchase. Hope that helps.

If the lenses weren’t see-through you would run into many objects....walls, cars, other people...it would be mayhem!! I applaud Oakley on their forsite for making sunglasses that can be seen through.

I love the Holbrook model of Oakleys. I have several versions of them. I think they fit great on my face. I like this one a lot because it is a more classic version. It's very sleek, stylish, the lenses are always top notch.
