From pro-sized parks to heli-accessed lines, the Oakley Airbrake XL Prizm Goggle delivers uncompromising vision with its oversized design and color-boosting Prizm lens. SwitchLock technology promotes convenient lens swapping when stormy conditions barrel down on your local mountain. Taking advantage of SwitchLock, the Airbrake XL comes with a second Prizm lens for quickly adjusting to variable alpine conditions.
Prizm works by emphasizing colors where the eye is most sensitive to detail, allowing you to visualize nuances in terrain and features lurking just beneath the snow, even in glaring-bright conditions. Adding to Prizm's exceptional clarity, the F3 anti-fog coating prevents condensation from obscuring vision during socked-in storms and soggy spring days.

Poor seal of lens but amazing optics
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The lens system isnt not good, snow and water always find its way in way too easy. Optics are amazing and frame fits great but the connectivity needs to be reworked. Wouldn't recommend this frame but def recc Oakleys Prizm and optics. Have worn these over 200 + or more days or riding

Too easy to detach lens
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The locking mechanism for the swappable lens is too delicate and finicky, and if you try to use both hands to lift the goggles away from your face and place on your forehead or helmet (like you do with every pair of goggles you've ever owned), the lenses pop out of the seal. While the lens doesn't fall off, it requires you to reseat the lens in its delicate "locked" position, which means taking your gloves off, asking people to wait, and hoping it doesn't pop right back out as you put them back on. I wore these for 2 riding days and easily had to reset the lenses 5-6 times each day. Optics and field of vision are great, and they look sharp, but I wouldn't buy again, they are just too delicate for the mountain. For day 3, I ended up borrowing a friend's 5-year-old goggles that didn't require such a gentle touch.

OK but not a fan
- Familiarity:

I thought the interchangeable lens was going to be the hot ticket but as it turns out I just leave the hi visibility lens in all the time. And further, the design is a bit awkward in that it is easy to accidentally free the lens and then you need two hands glove free to lock it back down.

Pretty Much Perfect

Full coverage, huge field of vision, perfect fit with most helmets, easily swappable lenses, and that unsurpassed Oakley lens quality. They're expensive, but they're really, really good. The Jade Prizm Sapphire lenses cover pretty much all the bases for me. Having a low light night riding is a nice bonus. I'm not crazy about all of the color options, but it's hard to knock them for what amounts to straight up personal taste. I'd buy another set, no question.
