Blimp-like buoyancy when you need it most.

When you're stand-up paddleboarding and don't want to be bothered by a big and bulky life vest, just wear the NRS Zephyr Self-Inflating PFD around your waist for some added peace of mind. The system is worn around the waist and can be instantly inflated with the just the pull of a cord thanks to a CO2-powered inflation device. Once inflated, the Zephyr provides up to 15.5lb of flotation, making it a type III PFD. When things really go bad, a mouth valve option allows the PFD to be inflated manually.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just got back from SUP'ing in Hawaii, we took our inflatables and this was so easy to pack and take with! Haven't had to use it.... yet but it fits comfortably!

    great for SUPing

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Easy to put on, wear, and transport. The waist format is convenient for SUPing and for soaking up the feel of the sun.. Doesn't get in your way while paddling. Its light so you don't feel overloaded. You may have to swivel it, sometimes wearing it with bag in front if you do a maneuvering on your board (like sit ups, naps on your back, yoga etc.). Sit up on my board are the only time it gets in the way. Best option for a non intrusive device that still meets safety regulations for the water. Good $$ too.
