    Crux Drysuit

The NRS Women's Crux Drysuit utilizes a four-layer Eclipse shell to provide remarkable waterproof protection and breathable performance that also stretches for freedom of movement. This shell locks water out while letting moisture escape, and the supple polyester microfiber inner face provides friction-free paddling with superior abrasion- and puncture-resistance.

Meanwhile, the neoprene overskirt features a double-pull hook-and-loop closure to fit over your sprayskirt tightly, and top-quality latex wraps around your neck and wrists for a watertight seal. An additional layer of neoprene protects the self-draining neck gasket while polyurethane enhances the wrist gaskets' waterproofing. NRS also added heavy-duty TIZIP MasterSeal waterproof zippers at the entry and relief openings to add convenience without hindering the Crux's waterproof protection. NRS included some Eclipse drysocks and the a quick-relief dropseat option for bathroom breaks.

One of my best pieces of paddling gear

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I took this drysuit on a three month paddling trip to Chile and Argentina last year. The water is cold down there and it rains a lot, so I pretty much ended up wearing my drysuit every day. It's comfortable when paddling and the drop seat is easy to use and easy to move out of the way of your hip pads. It's held up to everything I've put it through and it's still dry. I still the use it and trust it for long multiway trips and hard whitewater when you might take a swim. I'm 5.10 and 135lbs. I wear a women's large and it fits great!

    I love wearing this suit.

I used this drysuit for over 75 days this year. It is dry and a great fit. The drop seat relief zipper is easy to use. It also fits nicely just below my back band in my kayak. The flap over the zipper protects it, and makes me feel more secure that I will not damage the zipper while paddling, scouting, or portaging. I am broad shouldered so I paddle in a size large, but am only 5'4". It is a little long on me but I take up the length with the Velcro strap.

    I love wearing this suit.
