This powerful binding features a 12K Carbon highback and carbon-blended mounting post (surrounds mounting disc) for precise turns and explosive response. Now's Hanger 1.0 base is comprised of a 30% fiberglass blend for a highly responsive feel, but without being as uncompromisingly stiff as a full carbon chassis.

The defining feature of the Recon Binding is Now's Skate Tech. This innovative tech attaches the Hanger 1.0 base to a pivoting center kingpin, allowing you to rock the binding back and forth with a subtle amount of play. This rocking motion mimics the turning sensation of a skateboard truck, directing energy transfer for smooth edge-to-edge transitions. Another benefit of this technology is reduced vibration underfoot, courtesy of shock-absorbing bushings sitting between the binding and board interface. The Recon includes both medium (45 shore) and hard (55 shore) density bushings, giving you the option to swap them out for a customized feel to your particular riding style and local terrain.
