    Fjora good time, call Norrona.

No one ever complained about "light" and "technical," so it's not hard to understand why the Norrona Fjora Lightweight Men's Shorts are so rad. They're made of Flex1 nylon that's super-lightweight and just a little stretchy, with mesh side ventilation and some water-repellency to keep you dry when you're blasting through misty Whistler forests and soggy Euro downhills. Cut below the knee for the right amount of downhill steeze, the Fjora also has a Custom-Fit waist adjustment that keeps 'em from falling down, and has zippered pockets to keep your snacks safe.

    Extremely Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 190lbs

I've worn this pant a few months. They're very durable and comfortable for all sort of activities.
-Mountain Biking: vent on the side to keep cool while working myself up the hill! Phone pocket helps keep phone stored stabled as well.
-Climbing: Bouldering is amazing comfortable with it. Top roping/route setting with harness was comfortable too.
-Hiking: VERY comfortable! Quick drying if it get wet.

Velcro on the hip side is putting up lots of wear so you will see normal string peeling after a few dozens wear/wash.

    Use these all the time

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I use these all the time for mountain biking. They fit really nicely (the velcro on the side is handy for size adjustments) and I like the length. Comfortable and durable - I really like them!

    Long Fit, Technical MTB shorts

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I'm 5'11" and 170, normally wearing a 32x32 pant size. I wore the mediums and they fit well around the waist. The size chart is sorta out of wack though, the mediums are like a 32/33 max (though the chart places a medium from 34-36), if you're on the fence I may size up, this being why I labeled it as running small.

-Pocket game is on point. Almost too many of them, like a stylin' bike cargo pants. But seriously, they have two front pockets, two rear pockets, one zipped thigh and one zipped inner front pocket.

-Big fan of the material used on these. Stretchy and tough, just like MTB shorts should be.

-There are side zippers on the outside of the legs to open up the shorts for ventilation and helps fit over knee pads a bit.

-Not a huge fan of the length of these. Some folk love the longer MTB shorts, I personally don't. These aren't just long enough to cover the knee/knee pad, these go almost to the shin. Wearing with knee pads (photo taken didn't have knee pads on) helps deal with this a bit, but still not a fan of the length. Somewhat of a deal breaker for me.

-For the price, there are other shorts as rad that include a chamois, these do not include that.

Overall, if you're a lankier fellow or like having a longer cut of shorts, these are going to be rad for you. Technically, they are totally there, but not a huge fan of the fit, even when wearing them with knee pads. The price tag may be a bit daunting, but if you like a longer length, these are absolutely rad.

    Long Fit, Technical MTB shorts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 165lbs

I was in the marked for some lightweight shorts and I FOUND THEM. Doing a lot of bikepacking you really start to look for anything that is going to save you weight though these may not be the lightest way to go they work for me, as I like the longer shorts that offer more protection. The zip vents on each side are awesome for those brutal climbs and fun descents. The Velcro straps are awesome making for a nice snug fit. Thinking about getting a pair? DO IT

    My favorite shorts

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been wearing these shorts for close to a year now. They are by far my favorite pair of shorts. I am 6'2 170 lbs and the medium fits nicely. I prefer a short that is a little longer and this one is perfect coming down bottom of my knee cap. They have nice tailored fit and the adjustable waist system works great. They are one of the few shorts I own that have a dwr treatment which comes in handy on the wetter days. Although they are made of a durable material they remain fairly light weight and have not once restricted my range of motion and if I ever feel like need a little more room for my knee pads or need to cool off there is a full length bottom up expandable zipper vent on the outside of each leg. I was in a uh.. scooter accident while wearing these last fall. I ended up loosing some skin along with the pair of gloves and shoes I was wearing. I also tore 1/3 of the waistband elastic off my underwear! But the shorts emerged nearly unscathed with only some minor discoloration from skidding across the asphalt. They have surpassed my expectations with flying colors.

Vents, zip pockets, high back, oh my!

Lady love for the Fjorras! I really like these shorts. I have both the regular Fjora and the lightweight in medium. These fit a little looser and the lighter fabric is better for hot weather (you know, the "lightweight" part). They're stretchy, fit my thighs (lady size 10-12 on average), I love the long vents on the sides and the color blocked zippers are really nice. They're tall in the back and don't gap out over my booty, which is nice. Would definitely buy another pair.
