Go lighter, while going stronger.
Norrøna's emphasis on simplicity and durability shines in the Falketind 35L Backpack. With a 140D polyamide body fabric, and 420D polyamide bottom panel, this do-it-all pack is light yet incredibly resilient. One large compartment holds everything you need for a long day or quick overnighter, whatever season it is. Meanwhile, the dynamic carrying system has a removable lightweight plastic sheet with single aluminum rod for stability, a lightweight removable padded hip belt, and comfortable flat shoulder straps for a plush fit and feel wherever you bring it. Rounding out this pack, two compression straps on the sides cinch things down, two ice axe attachments keep you well-equipped, light weight gear loops in the front and an inside hydration pocket and inside pocket in the front ensure you're fully prepared for all of the adventures ahead.

Great little pack!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
So far so good. The design is simple and straight forward. It works very well for a daypack with climbing supplies or even a weekend pack for backpacking. Just enough room for the essentials, and a few small luxuries. All of the straps have a Velcro type tie down so the straps won't catch on anything. Full of well placed internal pockets to organize stuff. Unfortunately,It does not have any mesh side pockets for a water bottle, but it works well with a hydration bladder. The color is cool and everything fits well. For the price, I can't complain.
I have a 16" Torso, 26" waist. Would this fit me comfortably?
Hey Robyn - There is enough adjustability in the waist band on the Falketind but the torso is a bit long for you and it is fixed. I would recommend a Women's specific pack like the Osprey Kyte 36 (Item #OSP004R) in size XS/S as a better fit for you. What are you using the pack for? Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions or to discuss your options.
