    Slim-cut technical pants

Love these pants. They're cut slim and rather long for technical pants. They might be a little too slim for some, especially in the calves. I'm just under 6'0", and the size Medium hit at my ankle. I like the length for me, as I wear over-the-ankle hiking boots. But for someone tall and skinnier who's looking for truly full-length, the length on these might become an issue. They are lightweight and breathable, with Velcro closures and plenty of zippered pockets. They worked well for me in the conditions I was hiking. And with the streamlined style and the subtle covered zippers, I was able to wear them into town and on the plane without looking like I should be walking with hiking sticks.

      Bitihorn Lightweight Hybrid Softshell Pant

Our lightest hiking pants with durable stretch panels in the knees and seat, made for warmer days. These wind protective, quick-drying pants are very comfortable with excellent breathability. Features include Custom-fit system™, thigh pocket, Velcro® leg tightening, and inside mesh for mobile phone.

Finally, hiking pants for thin gals!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: True to size
        • Size Bought: XS
        • Height: 5'7"
        • Weight: 120lbs

After trying so many different brands & hiking pants this is the first pair that I have found that actually fits! The cut is great & the ability to zip & velcro the bottoms is ideal. Let's be real, why are hiking pants the only thing that still get away with being boot cut? These have a built in velcro system on the waist which allows you to cinch them down a little without a belt as well. These are the perfect length for me, but I could see them being a little short for someone much taller.

        Loved but had to return

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: Runs small
        • Size Bought: Large
        • Height: 5'11"
        • Weight: 185lbs

I wanted so badly to keep these pants: comfortable from the knee up, material that felt lightweight but strong enough to stand up to rocks and brush on the trail, tons of convenient pockets, adjustable waist tabs and a slightly higher rise than the Falketind pants, etc. If you have average-to-slender calves, these pants might work brilliantly for you, but for a gal with muscular (read: big) calves, they're just too tight in the lower leg. They fit--barely--but were uncomfortably tight in a way that made made the pants feel awkward as I walked. I would have had to keep the lower zips unzipped all the time, which looked and felt weird (and left the velcro tab at the cuff hanging awkwardly).

I also would have preferred just a wee bit more stretch for high-stepping and scrambling, but it was the tight calves that were the deal-breaker. If Norrona ever makes a straight(er)-leg version of these pants, I'll be all over them!

Love these... first up, the blue colour is wonderful. Super bright and fun. They are lightweight, quite generously cut so great for layering with long underwear. Despite the fact that they are lightweight they are pretty burly... I took them ice climbing and snagged them a couple times with my crampons and they held up. I'd buy a second pair if they hadn't all been snapped up!

        Perfect lightweight pant

First of all, I LOVE the blue color..I am so tired of Khaki, grey and black in outdoor clothing. These will be the perfect summer hike pant, but I am also planning on wearing them on warmer winter days backcountry skiing.. Lightweight, durable and much thinner than the other softshell Norrona pants I have and love.. I have yet to be dissapointed in a Norrona product..and I have many now.
