Offering precise response and all-day comfort, the Nitro Select TLS Snowboard Boot is built for riders who prefer a quick-reacting, supportive boot. The removable tongue stiffener lets you fine-tune the boot's flex to match your riding style, while the advanced TLS 5 Twin lacing system ensures a comfy and secure fit every time. The TLS 5 lacing system makes it easy to individually adjust the tightness of the upper and lower halves of the boot, allowing you to dial in the perfect for any situation in mere seconds, and when you're ready to get out of your boots, simply give the Bail Out tab a quick pull and the shell opens without a fuss.
An armored spine beefs up the support, and a removable Power Tongue Stiffener insert stiffens the boot for backcountry booter sessions, which can be removed for a looser flex when you're lapping the park. A heat-moldable Cloud 9 liner allows for a comfy custom fit, and it's been enhanced this season with D30 material for enhanced cushioning. ILS liner lacing provides extra security and prevents heel lift. Air damping in the heel and an EVA midsole cushion harsh impacts from overshot landings and big cliff drops. The Therminator shield in the bottom of the boot's shell reflects heat to keep your feet toasty. The rugged and durable Vibram Icetrek outsole is designed specifically for snowboarding, making short work of icy ridgelines and slippery parking lots.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've hopped around other brands the last few years but I'm sure glad to be back in a pair of Nitro's. I have yet to come across another boot that is as comfortable and responsive. Everyone's feet are different, but if you have issues with heel hold I would strongly recommend trying a pair of these out. The liner lacing just glues your heel down. Their speedlace system is bomber; I think it provides a tighter-fit than boa or traditional laces and stays snug throughout they day. Perfect all-mountain flex, and if you remove the plastic tongue inserts it feels more like a park-boot with medium flex. As far as durability... I can't speak to this pair probably put 200 days on my first pair, they were hard to let go. Nitro makes great boots, try em!
Love the speedlace system and super comfortable!
