This was my first time trying free runners, but I been working out with free trainers for a few years now and love them. So I wanted to try a runner and so far so good. They are flat enough to where I can still use them for lifting, but also have comfort and support for when I run. I have pretty flat feet, so there is a lil bit of arch support on the inside of the shoe, which helps with the stability factor of running. I don't know the lingo sorry, not really a runner--just trying to step up my cardio game. But I would recommend these for someone looking for a good, stable, comfy shoe for a versatile workout routine that has lifting-HIIT--etc. Again, not a runner, so I don't know how these would do on the road. :)
I'm lucky enough to be able to wear a mens 6/womens 7.5 and these fit pretty true to size. But the only downfall is the tongue of the shoe moves around alot, so beware of that. Other than that, I'm happy w/ the free runners.
