This is my second pair of TKs. I started with the terra kiger 5 and got the 6s a size larger when I started going over 8-10miles continuously for hiking. I love everything about this shoe except as has always been the issue, they lose a ton of traction when wet. If you?re trail running or hiking anything that isn?t maintained and groomed, I?d look elsewhere. If you are on dry earth then these are great. I still wear these for hikes but if I know it?s going to rain, I reach for a different trail runner.

Better. The Same.

Essentially the same as v5 but with a slightly better upper. BUT the outsole is still DANGEROUS on wet rocks and roots. I don't understand why Nike can fix this. Runs great and does well enough if mud isn?t too deep. Awesome on dry. But a liability on wet stuff.
