Knows how to have a good time.

Built for the freestyle junkie who isn't afraid to venture outside the park, the Niche Knew Snowboard combines the playful feel you want for jibbing in the park with the stability you need for shredding the rest of the mountain. Its softer flex makes it a dream to press and butter, while the flat camber and 2X Traction Bumps offer response and edge hold for carving up groomers and ripping through the trees.

Flat camber offers a stable platform for stomping tricks and bombing trails, while early-rise tips keep it forgiving and add float in powder. Extra contact points help you hold an edge on icy slopes and make hard carves. Flax stringers offer the pop and damping of carbon fiber, but are renewable and therefore eco-friendlier. Speaking of eco-friendlier, Snappy Sap bio resin reduces environmental impact while adding a snappier, smoother feel to your ride, and recycled edges, sidewalls, and base reduce waste. The end result is a board that's easier on the environment without sacrificing performance.

17/18 Niche Knew - Side Hits Allllll Day

The award-winning Knew is the perfect flat camber twin, with the pop and stability needed to hit jumps, rails and anythiung else the mountain might throw at you. The paulownia core and flax stringers provide plenty of pop and stability, while the flat camber and softer flex are perfect for pressing rails and give you amazing float in powder. With a centered stance on this true twin shape, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another ‘jib board’ as versatile as this. Perfect for park riders who also enjoy riding the rest of the mountain.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Niche Knew has taken a spot at the Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood for freestyle/park decks. What's awesome about the Knew is that it's classified as a park board, but it's super versatile and good for all mountain and decently good in powder as well! The Flat camber gives you tons of stability while still maintaining a less catchy ride. Two traction bumps keep things locked in while railing carves or riding icier slopes. If you're a freestyle focused rider that still rips all mountain, the Knew is definitely one you should be looking at.

Niche has been the leader in building eco-friendly snowboards. Using more locally sourced and recycled materials and ensuring the least amount of waste is produced, Niche has taken sustainability by the reigns and have proven you can have award-winning snowboards while still being environmentally responsible.

    Amazing board and company!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been riding the Knew for the past three seasons and am all about i! The flat camber is flexible and fun in the park while remaining stable on big jumps and ripping pow days. What makes this board even better is the environmentally friendly manufacturing processes Niche uses so you can feel good about ripping a board with a good cause!
( https://nichesnowboards.com/sustainable-snowboards/ ) Between this board's all-around performance and the company's eco-friendly vision, I would highly recommend this board to anyone looking for an amazing mix of park and all-mountain fun! Also, the fact that this board was a Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award winner for the Park division under $450 should tell you everything you need to know about bang-for-your-buck!
