Heel design
I have been wearing New Balance Minimus for 15 years. Best training and CrossFit shoes on the market! I like the new Minimus Trail. However, I would make the following suggestion: The foam construction on the heel is not rigid enough. It allows the heel of the foot to move vertically when sprinting or driving off the front of the foot to the point that it almost slips out of the shoe. I would recommend using more rigid material. Additionally, while the new laces prevent untying during activity (great design), they have always been too long on the Minimus shoes. Within a few days, I find myself double-knotting them. Perhaps consider shortening the laces 2 inches.

Good for nothing, shoes!
The worst shoes I ever owned. Thy are only good for use as flip flops or to were it on a camping. For running are good for nothing, construction is very loose. It try it to a trail and after a while I wanted to take them off. You will fill every tiny rock and your feet will fill very insecure.

Not comfortable / Bad design
Beautiful design but very uncomfortable. The top of the shoes is very thin and you feel the shoelaces on top of your foot. I'm disappointed to see New Balance designing such an un comfortable shoes. Don't recommend this model.

These are not minimalist shoes
These aren't terrible shoes, but they are not the minimalist design I have come to expect from the minimus line. The heel in particular has lots of padding and feels very squishy. So they are not very useful for what I had in mind.

My pair is for sale
I can't feel the ground and the shoe lacks adequate traction on smooth surfaces. Makes this shoe dangerous for me. However, this shoe is probably a soccer mom's dream come true, as it is very comfortable and stylish... Think of a Croc with nice laces.

Disappointed
Very little ankle support and seems to be over designed. Looks cool though.

Very poor build quality
I returned these shoes. Construction felt very cheap. I wore these all the time 10 years ago and they were the best on the market, now they are cheap crap. It's too bad. I used to bleed NB.

Awesome shoes
Great shoes! They are comfortable, stylish, and lightweight. I got them in wide.

Sloppy fit ruins the return to an icon
Great to see the iconic minimus trail back! I love the slightly higher stack height than the original, but the fit of the upper is sloppy -- too narrow in the toe box, too loose in the heel, and the stretchy laces don't let you get a good lockdown anywhere in the shoe. If NB cleans up the fit on next year's update, the new minimus trail could be an amazing shoe, but for now, it's a miss.

Very good minimal shoe that’s not barefoot
Shoe fit is very good for wide feet and has a glove like feel. Not a truly minimal shoe, but good support for use when using in concrete. Shoe is very flexible and conforms to terrain and small for movements. Cushioning is on the very soft side relative to Merrell glove trail shoes etc. and would benefit from stiffness.
