Good quality, half decent styling.
Why do they say Toe Protect on the shoe??? NB, you guys always get the coolness of the shoes half way right and completely ruin the shoe. For the love of God, poach some people from Nike, improve your styling and assert your dominance as the best show maker. They’re better constructed shoes, quit making them Look so bad.

The MOST comfortable sneaker Ive ever worn!
Incredibly comfortable. Its like I strapped two pillows to my feet. I work long hours on an unforgiving concrete floor and these are by far the best sneakers Ive tried. Great balance and grip for the soles as well and they look great too!

Plushy Galore - Trail Shoe
Excellent choice if you want maximal cushioning and a über plushy ride. The rocks, bramble, heck even the trail just disappear under all that Fresh Foam. Full disclosure: I am used to low stack height trail shoes and was a little concerned all that foam height might translate into an unstable tippy shoe on trail. Happy to report New Balance’s design and engineering teams addressed this via a very flared out mid and outsole. The shoes were stable and the oversized outsole lugs provided more than enough traction. Truthfully though these appear big and bulky in the pictures, like a monster truck. In person they aren’t so bad, however they do look substantial and no mistake. On the trail it is readily evident the selection of lightweight materials and pronounced rocker contributes to a shoe that is not sluggish or heavy. That said, these shoes provide no trail feel, powering through any obstacles you’ll encounter. In complete honesty, these would not be my first choice for a trail race. However that is not intended for that. These offer off road trail luxury whether it’s a short run and especially a long endurance run. Just be aware you might need to slightly increase your leg lift height to better clear the rocks and obstacles.

Ultimate On Trail Plushness
Never thought one could find this level of plush cushioning in a trail shoe. Definitely makes any trail feel smoother. Lots of stability from the flared out soles. Was a little concerned about the stack height on trail, however New Balance really made these stable with the the very substantially wide soles and plenty of grip from very oversized lugs. Definitely not a speed shoe and absolutely no ground feel. However it’s a trade off one would expect from this type of maximal design. New Balance does an excellent job of designing these with enough rockers and lightweight materials that as chunky and possibly clunky as they appear, they actually feel that way. It’s like running over pillowy marshmallows while the rocks and trail just passes underneath.
