At 8.6 oz, these lightweight road warriors are great for training runs or even racing in the urban setting. Living in Portland, we have access to some of the most gorgeous trails but they aren't always convenient or are just packed with Californians (I'm one of them). The next best thing is to run the streets and plus, dodging hipsters and pedestrians can be somewhat fun.
These shoes provide good stability, more intended for those who have slight to moderate over pronation. But as a neutral striker, these shoes feel sure-footed and comfortable. The 6mm drop gives me a little more roll-on feel, allowing me to push off my toes with ease. Having a bit of knee pain (from a motorcycle accident) 0 drop tends to exacerbate the impact of the surface, so I tend to lean toward shoes with a slight drop. All in all, great shoe; fits a bit snug to true to size.
If you're uncertain about which shoes to purchase, check the wear pattern of your older pair of running shoes, see if you're heavy footed or light on your feet, and go by comfort. Happy running...
