Why We Like The New Balance 1080v12 Running Shoe
More streamlined and flexible, the New Balance 1080v12 Running Shoe is smoother than all that came before it. The revamped midsole design features strategically placed flex points to let our feet roll naturally through transitions, sailing us into easy toe-offs, while the redesigned upper uses a sock-like knit construction for resilient stretch that supports and breathes with ease. Now equipped with New Balance's plushest foam, Fresh Foam X, this iteration softens our heavy strikes that carry us through the end of our long runs.

Favorite for walking/running
Very comfortable. The fit solved my problem of callouses and they have been the best shoes for my minor Plantar Fasciitis.

Comfy shoes
Shoes are very comfortable. I do not like the shoe lace system. Laces are thin and hard to grasp.

Great cushioning not really a narrow
The cushioning is great! Previous ones fit my narrow foot better however. These seem wider for a narrow.

You get what you pay for!
A great shoe even if a bit higher priced. I like the fit, style and overall comfort it provides.

Just the right amount of cushion
Best running shoes. Period. Just the right amount of cushion and right amount of support. I immediately used this pair for 3-4 consecutive runs. I am going to get 3 more extra pairs, they now have v13 which am not sure if it's going to be as good.

Great distance shoe. Runs large.
I bought these as an additional long distance trainer. So far they have worked very well doing just that. I have done a couple of tempo runs. The 1080v12 is not a great tempo shoe. Still these are plush, comfortable and come in a cremesicle color way. What more can you ask for to eat up miles? They do run ridiculously large. The only shoe I’ve had in recent years that wasn’t true to size. Had to go a half size down.
