    Shaper Twin Snowboard

The Shaper Twin Snowboard brings you all the same freeride prowess as the rest of Never Summer's Shaper series, but with a slight inclination towards freestyle fun as well, helping you find pow stashes in the morning and then rip park laps in the afternoon. Starting with Fusion RC, which balances the powerful edgehold, snappy turning, and huge pop of Ripsaw RC in the back with the surfy feel underfoot of Original RC in the front. This versatile profile brings back the fun and fluidity that all-mountain freestyle snowboarding deserves, helping you go right from fast and loose tree runs to progression sessions in the park.

NS gave this deck its trusty Vario Power Grip Sidecut, which uses multiple radiuses for extra contact points that give you a powerful edge hold and explosive pop. Carbon Max Laminate Technology has a lightweight yet powerful feel underfoot that maintains torsional rigidity and energy transfer without sacrificing the control you want in technical terrain. Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers directly below the mounting area soak up harsh chatter and boost high-speed stability while saving your legs' energy for straightlining chunder and sloppy snow on the way to the park. Vibration absorption and stability are then furthered by the lightweight RDS 2 Damping System, which perfects the balance of freeride stability and freestyle liveliness.

    • Directional twin that thrives everywhere, from park to pow
    • Centered stance 10mm taper makes riding switch easy
    • Hybrid rocker balances powerful response with forgiving float
    • Unbelievably lightweight wood core adds strength and control
    • RDS 2 damping system absorbs shock and adds stability
    • Advanced carbon matrix maximizes response and strength
    • Biax fiberglass keeps your tweaks on point in the park
    • Sintered base is tough and fast in most conditions

    The Ultimate Carving Machine

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is killer for riding through all types of conditions of snow but where it really shines is whenever your carving and really laying into those euro turns(those turns really lock in nice)! Has a great amount of pop for side hits and jumps.

    Fun board

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This board rips! I love the fusion rocker camber profile. I felt very comfortable carving, hitting the park, riding switch, and bombing lines. It is a fun playful board. I have yet to use it in powder, but will have to try it out soon! I used the 157 and it felt great! I am 6'0 175lbs.

    All Day, All Around Ripper

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I absolutely love this board. Never Summer really hit it out of the park with the Shaper series of boards. I own the Never Summer Swift, that board is amazing and in all honesty, the only thing it left me wanting was better switch riding capability, and a softer more park friendly flex. In comes the Shaper Twin.
    I absolutely love this board!
It was wider than I typically ride and that sort of concerned me, I wear Size 9 boots and run Medium bindings and the extra width was somewhat of a concern, however, once I hit the snow all concerns evaporated. I typically gravitate to softer park boards, I prefer the Warlock / EVO over the Proto and felt that the Proto was a touch too stiff for my preference.
Something about the flex of the Shaper Twin I feel like is just a little easier to butter than the Proto, making it more playful feeling. It has good pop and floats in powder better than any other "twin" I have ridden.
    Carving is nuts!
The Shaper Twin just rips for carving and is very stable at speed. I typically ride a 156cm board but opted for the 153cm Shaper twin because of the extra width and my intended use which was mostly park riding.
Voted "Best Carving Board" in the Snowboarder Magazine "Black Board Experiment" I would be super happy to call this my one and only board for the season, it is a solid performer in powder, rips on groomers, and excels in park. I would buy this board all over again and am stoked on my decision.
I am a bit of a Never Summer Fan, I love quality American Made Goods and these boards just last and last. I always make it a point to hit demo days at my local resort because I am always worried that I could be missing out on some cool tech from another brand, and year after year I am stoked on Never Summer.
