East Snowboard

We like the East Snowboard for its beastly performance over the bulletproof-like ice and cruddy conditions usually found at resorts in the area it's named after. This tank of a board uses a stiff flex, directional shape, and powerful camber profile to lay down proper carves at high speeds with tons of control, stability, and response. Carbon reinforcements turbocharge your pop and response without adding much weight, and a cushy damping system keeps chatter and impact to a minimum when blasting over chopped up snow. For days at the resort that would otherwise be a wash, grab the East and carve, charge, and race to your heart's content.

I’ve been riding for almost thirty years now and have ridden and raced a wide variety of boards in all kinds of conditions. The East is not only one of the fastest boards I’ve ever strapped into but one of the most enjoyable. The East certainly excels on groomers and east coast boiler plate, as its name implies but its hybrid camber profile makes it quite versatile in everything from Pacific Northwest cement, gnarly Sugarloaf chunder, spring corn at Hood and even a little Brian Head pow. If you’re on the fence about getting the East, just pull the trigger and don’t look back; you will not regret it. Other than my Kessler Alpine 185 PGS, I’ve never ridden a more capable carving machine...besides, it’s fun to ride and a whole lot more forgiving.
