Who says it takes two to tango? With the NEMO Equipment Inc. Tango Solo 30 Degree Down Sleeping Bag with 1-Person 25L Slipcover, visions of sugarplums (or whatever) will dance around in your head all night long as you sleep peacefully in total warmth. This backless bag is designed to fit over a sleeping pad, eliminating excess material and reducing weight without sacrificing supreme comfort. Its 700-fill Power Down insulation with DownTek offers all the lightweight, exceptionally-warm, and easily-packable benefits of traditional down, but with a water-resistant treatment to make sure it doesn't lose its insulating powers when it gets a little damp in soggy conditions.
Then, the outer fabric and lining are also DWR-treated to repel moisture in case of dewey nights or cold sweats. The BlanketFold hood wraps around your head for tucked-in comfort, while an included stuff sack and cotton bag make for incredibly easy storage. Although the Tango Solo fits over any 20x72- or 25x76-inch sleeping bag (depending on size selected), it's a guranteed good night's sleep when paired with NEMO Equipment's Cosmo or Astro Insulated Lite pads.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Have not taken this into the field yet but initial observations:
Fits the 20R Nemo Cosmo really well. There are small plastic clips for a strap system to keep the quilt cinched down but Nemo didn't include any. I used some day-glo shock cord and toggles, very lightweight solution. Lastly - have not used in the field yet but good lord is this thing warm. I climbed into it to test the straps and I was overheated within seconds. I'll update my review after I use in the field, should get some cold nights this fall.
