Great Bag......Just TOO TIGHT!!
Overall, sleeping bag is very comfortable material. I camped 3 nights straight, when the weather was 85/60. Going to bed at night was boarderline uncomfortable, but, this bag material really made it feel much better. The reason it is 3star.....Im an average size Man, 5'9" - 210lbs. I am a side sleeper, and toss and turn. This sleeping bag was very tight on my body. There was hardly no extra room inside, even to move my arms to a different position. I felt pinned down inside it, fully zipped. Maybe this is the design to keep the material close to the body, so the body heat stays in....not sure, but it was uncomfortable at times.

Great bag to upgrade to from a basic bag.
Got this bag for my husband at the same time I ordered the women's Forte bag. He is 6' and the regular was just long enough. He prefers to not have too much extra length by his feet. This bag kept him warm in low 40 degree weather.

Perfect bag for bigger guys!
I am 6’ 215lbs. I just spent 10 days camping out west in Montana with this bag. Several days had temps drop into the mid to low 40s. I actually stayed nice and cozy in this bag. Plenty of room and it packed up tight.

I have actually not used this bag in the wild yet, just at my house to see how comfortable it was regarding length, roominess, and warmth. The warmth seems good and I liked the venting options to cool down if necessary, A+ on this front. However, length is not as advertised... the description on this page says the regular size max user length is 6'6" and being 5'11" I expected to have some extra toe space but I felt like I barely fit... I would have gone with the long had I known it was going to be that tight. The roominess was good below my chest, but if I had my arms inside the bag it left very little room to move - maybe thats expected from this style of bag - I do have broad shoulders though. And as a nitpick comment, one of the straps on the compression bag were twisted. Not a big deal, and I did try to straighten it but it seems the straps are folded/stitched after going through the fastener so I was not able to fix it. Again, just a nitpick, but I was expecting more from this Nemo product.

Initially disappointed there was no compression bag in box. The photos of product suggest there is one, but I could not find a “What is in box” list. The bag is super light! It looks like a fantastic product. I ordered this because of a review of 250 #, 6’2, review. I’m looking forward to spring weather to give it a try.

Side Sleepers Rejoice!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
As someone who sleeps best on their side, the spoon-shaped mummy design of this bag is an absolute game-changer. I love having the Thermo Gills to dump excess heat, and the internal pillow pocket is absolutely ingenious. I loved this bag so much, I bought one for my partner so we can both sleep soundly after a long day of trekking through the mountains to our campsite. It's safe to say I'm one of NEMO's newest converts.

Bad Front Zipper
I just received my sleeping bag yesterday and the zipper on one of the thermogills was already jammed stuck no matter how much I pulled it on either side.

Toasty and TALL
Recently took this up to spring in damp 30 degree temps and was so warm! Too warm even (but thank goodness for the vents!). I love this bag and all it has to offer. I am 6'4" and finding a bag that I can fit in with extra room has always been a challenge but this one is great. I love nemo and this bag!!

Perfect balance between mummy and rectangle
I just spent 10 nights in Oregon with this bag. Coldest night was low 30s, most nights were low 40s. I wore long johns, sweatshirt and socks to sleep in. I was very comfortable each night. Loved the ‘blanket’ feature that kept cold air out of the top. The hood was a good size. But the thing that won me over was the hybrid shape. It was just enough room that I could sleep on my side and tuck my knees up, but not so much room that the bag was huge and because cold because of it. Would definitely recommend.

My girth is 58". Will I be comfortable in the Forte 20degree Long? It says 66" girth... Is the 66" the actual inside circumference of the shoulders, or is it big enough for a man with a 66" girth to be comfortable?
