Why We Like The Disco 15 Sleeping Bag

Those of us who are side-sleepers are pleased to know that the Disco 15 has enough room to dance around in. Its Spoon shape is extra-wide at the elbows and knees, allowing us to shift around and sleep on our side in comfort, and its down fill offers plush warmth that's both hydrophobic in case of rainy conditions, and light enough for backpacking excursions.

  • A lightweight sleeping bag for cold shoulder-season camping
  • Hydrophobic down won't lose its lofty warmth if it gets wet
  • Spoon-shaped design offers comfortable nights for side-sleepers
  • Waterproof footbox keeps feet warm and dry despite tent condensation
  • Thermo Gills can be unzipped to dump excess heat come sun-up
  • Blanket Fold external draft collar rolls back to mimic your bed
  • Zips together with the women's Disco 15 for a cozy night's rest
  • Down fill sourced from birds that were never live-plucked
  • Item #NEMK00V

I purchased mine in January and finally got to use it for 3 nights last week on a moto tent-camping trip in Wisconsin. First night was about 30 degrees. The last night was 50 or so. I opened the Thermo Gills and was perfectly comfy. My tent is a Redverz Solo...nice and big, but the high ceiling makes it not the warmest, so having the 15 degree bag and a good insulated air mattress was great. I used a liner and I really recommend them. They keep drafts completely out and keep the bag much cleaner. After the trip, just throw the liner in the wash.

This is easily the most comfortable sleeping bag I’ve ever used. I’m a side sleeper and this bag gives me ample room to stretch out or curl up on my side. Paired with a wide sleeping pad, you won’t get a better nights sleep in the backcountry. I loved it so much a actually purchased the women’s version for my girlfriend so we can zip them together when she comes out with me.

This is by far the best sleeping bag I ever owned. I sleep better in this bag than I do in my bed. The cooling vents are great. I’m a side sleeper and I can curl up in fetal position in this thing. Very roomy and super comfortable. The zipper has extra heavy duty material so the bag doesn’t get caught when zipping up(genius). Temps got down to about 45 and I had to sleep in my boxers and unzip a little bit. I expect to be very comfortable at 15 degrees F in my long Johns. I’m about 5’ 7” and weigh about 190 pounds. Highly recommend this bag.

Great bag so far

Have tested this bag down to 30 but also up to 50f. The thermovents and bottom opening regulate temp really well. I’m confident with this bag and merino baselayer to 20 based on experience so far. I’ve only used with a pad with r1.1 rating so if I use my winter pad it will make a significant difference too. I also used it in a tent that I forgot the pegs for, meaning there was no venting all night. Everything was pretty wet in the morning but I was still nice and warm. Bag dried out quickly too.

Any idea when this will be back in stock?! Added it to my cart and when I came back to purchase minutes later, it's out of stock... pretty bummed, I was really hoping to get this bag on a good sale before my next hike.
