    Supportive Warmth.

Whoever thought backpacking in winter was a good idea must have had the Nemo Equipment Cosmo Insulated Sleep Pad to keep them nice and comfortable while they slept. Nemo added a layer of PrimaLoft insulation to the durable polyester shell to keep you warmer and cozier than conventional sleeping pads. And even though it stuffs down to about the size of a backpacking stove, this pad's lateral I-beam baffles raise up to about 3.5 inches in order to keep you off the bumpy ground throughout the night. These baffles also offer more support and stability than most conventional sleeping pads, and the pad features a pillow baffle for extra support that doesn't add any weight whatsoever. An integrated foot pump lets your leg do all the work involved with inflating instead of your lungs. Additionally, when you're breaking down camp for a long hike, stuff this pad in its included stuff sack so you can minimize the amount of space it consumes in your pack.

    • An insulated sleeping pad for cold weather camping
    • PrimaLoft insulation ensures you stay solidly warm
    • Rectancular shape maintains creature comfort
    • Foot pump provides quick and easy set up
    • Later I-beam baffles are raised for additional comfort
    • Stuff sack is included for your convenience
    • Item #NEM006E

    Nemo NAILED IT!

Purchased this pad for some winter trips and was not disappointed. Easy to use and inflates quick. The foot pump is awesome and is nice knowing you're not filling your pad with condensation from your lungs. Slept my first weekend in 15-18° nights and had zero issues with warmth. I would feel confident taking this pad down to 10! It's not an ultralight but the extra ounces are well worth the tradeoff for the comfort. Definitely recommend this one.

When experience meets up with hope

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Looking for a cool weather solution to a backless system bag (Big Agnes Fish Hawk) and this one appears to be it for me. This pad hits on all points: cushioning, insulation, lightweight (enough), and compact. Cushioning ability for a side sleeper in addition to the insulating properties makes it a winner. The foot pump feature certainly makes inflation easy after figuring out the intricacies of operating it (be patient, let the pump fully fill and open the intake port!) The valve at the head end makes it easy to adjust and dial in the right balance of lift and softness. Initial use was two consecutive nights in 18-25 F temps without any warmth problems. The Cosmo Insulated has me confident in relying on this in the future during colder trips. Packing is easy enough after remembering to close the intake valve and the compactness is surprising. The size and weight are minimal enough that placement in my pack is merely a question of how it best fits among the other gear. Looking forward to many trips with this pad.

Cosmo is a very comfy pad for a great $$

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Awesome pad. It has everything needed to be comfortable, easy to use, and convenient. Lateral baffles make it so you dont sink to the ground, and the support is really good. My back really appreciates this pad. Much quicker to blow up this pad than any other pad on the market. The foam rebounds super quick so it allows you to put air through the foot pump super quickly! better than expected

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

I seldom write reviews however this pad deserves one. As an old guy with back trouble and bad hips, who sleeps on his side, getting a good nights sleep is difficult on a good mattress. I took a chance and purchased this pad sight unseen based on reviews. My first use was while Jeeping with a buddy for a few days through the Michigan U.P. National Forest. Find and isolated lake pitch your tent build the fire and spend the night. I slept great each night and will no longer hesitate to do an extended overland trip knowing that the next morning it will not be a painful endeavor to extricate myself from the tent. It inflated easily slipped right into my two person tent and the next morning deflated nicely and actually fit back into its bag with my deflated pillow. Thanks NEMO for making something for us old guys and gals.

    Most comfy on the market

It's a little heavier than the ultra-light, but if you're not backpacking 20 miles a day, this puppy is worth the extra 12oz.

    Really Comfy Nemo Sleeping pad

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this for a friend and he loves it! This sleeping pad is much wider than others which means you don't end up rolling off your mattress in the middle of the night. Also really good depth so you don't feel anything under the pad but it still doesn't take up too much room in your tent.
