Cosmo 3D Sleeping Pad
Whether you're camping in the summer or backpacking in the fall or spring, the Nemo Equipment Inc. Cosmo Air Sleeping Pad is sure to keep you nice and cozy while you sleep. Even though it stuffs down to about the size of a backpacking stove, this pad's lateral I-beam baffles raise up to about four inches in order to keep you off the bumpy ground throughout the night. These baffles also offer more support and stability than most conventional sleeping pads, and the pad features a pillow-inspired baffle for extra support at your head that doesn't add any weight whatsoever. Additionally, Nemo made the pad out of a durable yet plush polyester fabric that's tear-resistant, quiet, and comfortable. An integrated foot pump lets your leg do all the work involved with inflating instead of your lungs. And, when you're breaking down camp for a long hike, stuff this pad in its included stuff sack so you can minimize the amount of space it takes up in your pack.

- Q & A
Have you ever slept on a pool raft?
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have to say that I purchased this pad due to the easy of inflation and size. I was very pumped about it (pun intended). Went out for a weekend and tried to sleep on this thing - it didn't happen. I think this pad is best suited for back sleepers. I am a side sleeper and constantly felt like I was sleeping on a pool raft. I had tried to return it to Backcountry given this, but too much time had passed on the return window. I do not recommend this pad unless you can sleep comfortably anywhere or on anything.
You know i'm starting to get annoyed with shopping on Backcountry! This is the second time ive been confused about the specs and pricing when purchasing a product, If you don't pay close attention you can order one thing and you get something else!!! I thought i ordered the insulated version of the Cosmo 3d pad because the price was the same as the nemo website and specs look similar. You guys have a weird way of doing things over here in comparison to Rei, at least I know what model or product Im getting. Make the specifications more clear, or have the model product on one page!!! Thank you..
