    Blazin' backpacking trips.

With a slim weight barely over two pounds, Nemo's Blaze 2P Tent is a favorite among ultralight backpackers. Despite its light weight, the Blaze still provides versatile protection, including a PU-coated fly and floor for wet weather and a no-see-um mesh canopy for warm temperatures.

The Blaze uses a single DAC Featherlite NFL pole for a simple setup. Unlike most ultralight backpacking tents, the Blaze boasts two doors and two vestibules for a better camping experience. The dual stage stuff sack separates the tent from the stakes and poles so both backpackers can share the weight.

    Got this to stay dry

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The last tent I tried to use in very wet conditions kept me cold and wet inside and outside the tent. The search to find a dependable tent, roomy enough for 2 people for car or shorter backpacking trips led me to this NEMO. The design, ventilation, and quality has kept me happy with this purchase. Of course taking the necessary time to secure the guide lines correctly and a few other "tenting tips" will ensure you're staying dry and comfy. And how 'bout that No See Um mesh?? Awesome!

    Big and light

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a fabulous piece of gear, so much for 2 pounds. 50 inches wide 85 inches long. Ample room for two folks best to sleep Head to toe. Quick and easy set up I think the trick to fast setup is just take out the four corners first set up your pole Connect the tent to the pole and you're done! Neat little headlight pocket in the top of the tent that has opaque material that diffuses the light, very nice nice touch. Use it a couple nights down to 38 degrees is very comfortable. I don't know if it was designed intentionally but on the ends of the tent if you push Down and out on the edge of the bathtub bottom you can peek out underneath the high part of the rain fly another nice touch. Yellow color is alright, part of me always likes to blend into the forest more, most tents has have a bright color, but being able to blend in is nice on those nights when your stealth camping.

Biggest, Lightest tent I have found

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This tent is severely under rated. I have had this tent for a year and there still are hardly any reviews on it.

I have had my fair share of tents, from BA to Mountain Hardware, this is one of my all time favorites. For the weight it is a PALACE! I have tried many other ultralight 2p tents and not one has compared to the weight and size of the Blaze.

The BA Fly Creek is one of the most popular ultralight 2p tents, and a bomber tent but most people can agree that is it's not made for 2 people. The blaze is for 2 people, it's the same weight as the Fly Creek, and it's actually quite spacious.

I have spent many hours in rain storms in this tent with a friend and we both comfortably sat up and played cards, and hung out for hours. We would have been miserable in any other ultralight 2p tent bc you're hard pressed to be able to sit up one at a time, let alone both at the same time.

Too my surprise it even did great in 30+ mph winds guides out. Great tent, HIGHLY recommend! You can not get a bigger tent for at this weight.

Only gripes are bc of the pole structure the side sags. Best to sleep head to toe. And wish there were a couple more inside pockets. All insignificant when you are buying a huge tent for 2lbs 5oz.
