Broke and Bad Warranty

Mine broke at the hinge. The design of the hinge isn't great and the plastic is super thin where the arms meet the frame. It didn't take much for mine to snap.

Native wants $30 in order for me to have these warrantied even though Native markets these as having a Lifetime Warranty. Really sad since I own multiple pairs of sunglasses from Native.

Great fit, good coverage, great value

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 180lbs

Had a pair of Native's some time ago. Recently came back with the sale purchase of the fade brown. I've got a bigger noggin--not all sunglasses fit right or look good. These hit the mark. Will be wearing these for fly fishing and general everyday wear. Native has a great don't toss them if you scratch a lense or step on 'em...

    Good value, great lenses

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Comfortable, great lenses (I have multiple colors). The fit is good and they can be used skiing or doing other active stuff without fear of them flying off. Only thing to watch for is that the nose pads can come loose and get lost easily. Native were cool about it and sent me some spares...

Nice shades, little room for improvement

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The most important part of a pair of sunglasses is the lens. On that point, the Wazees have it down. I purchased these to replace a pair of Smith Chiefs that were stolen. The Chiefs are a part of Smith's top-end line with glass lenses. The Wazees beat them for clarity and are a hell of a lot easier to keep clean. I miss the photochromic feature, but I'll deal, especially at 1/4 the price.

The second most important part of a pair of shades is fit. Here, the Wazees are a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, they're shaped in a way that my eyelashes don't constantly brush against the lens and muck them up. On the other hand, these and every other pair of Native shades I've tried are really tight behind the ears. My wife can't wear hers for any period of time because they give her a headache. It can probably be fixed with a hair dryer and some elbow grease, but I haven't gotten around to that, yet.

Final gripe - if you're not careful while folding them, the end of one earpiece will get stuck on the base of the other. I can see this causing someone to break their shades.

    Bummed they Broke

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These were my go to shades- til I caught the ear piece on a door frame. Stupid- should have been wearing them not carrying them. but they were super awesome while i had them. they were great on the water, on the snow, driving, where ever.

    Current Favorite

These are my favorite all qround glasses. I don't run, bike or exercise in them. But they are great for eveything else! Nice looks and nive ventilation for no fogging when it gets hot at the pool or at the ball game. I have the gunmetal silver reflex.

Mine just simply broke at hinge while wearing on top of my head(fathead not) fell inside wall at work all I have left is the broken ear piece, and native needs more then that to warranty the product..but have to admit they were comfy

        Wazee indeed

These are a really good pair of polarized sunglasses. I have the maple tort with brown lenses and they are the best for clear vision and comfort out of all the glasses I have owned. I'm seeing things I never have before! I use them for looking good on town, mountain biking, canoeing and pretty much anything else.

          Polarized lens defective

I purchased a pair of polarized Wazee gunmetal/silver reflex sunglasses in Nov. 2010. In December, I sent them in for warranty because the lenses developed straight lines across each lens. I received new lenses at now cost and I put them in. They told me this has happened to other lenses. Six weeks later, these lenses developed the same lines across them also, I had them in their cover when this occurred. I am now wanting my money reimbursed. The sad thing, these are very comfortable to wear.

            Go to's

I have the tort with the sienna lens and these have been my go to shades all summer long. I have a medium size face and they fit perfectly. These are also very light weight and go perfectly with whatever adventure the day brings. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of sporty, stylish, and comfy sunglasses.

              Gets the job done

I've got a fat head and these fit just fine. Comfortable at the temples and the nose since they are pretty light. The tint on the grey lense is just about right, not too light or dark so fine for overcast days to cut glare. Overall, a good pair of shades.
